Relatability and connection are your friends. People would rather connect than be sold to.
Studies show that people do not like to be sold to. They donât want someone to tell them to buy something. Theyâd much rather prefer a give and take business relationship than you asking them for something over and over with nothing in return. That is what we do when we are continually asking someone to buy our products.
However, people like to connect. They like it when someone genuinely listens to their needs and problems. Once they connect they donât mind so much that you share the thing you have to offer that helps solve one of their problems.
1. First we genuinely connect.
2. Then we listen and support.
3. Then after providing them with
free value once or twice, we can
then share a product or service
that meets their need.
Let me know in the comments what is the most challenging thing about showing up on a personal level in your stories. đđź
In social media, authenticity is a powerful currency. Embracing your true self, rather than giving into the pressures of comparison, is so important in cultivating a genuine online presence. Remember, your uniqueness is your strength. Celebrate your individuality, share your authentic experiences, and foster connections based on sincerity.
What part of the process are you stuck at when trying to identify how to show up for your online community and what specific content you should put out that serves them?
Can someone please help me?! đŠđ
This is the hardest part in the creating process. đ¤Łđ

I recently reconnected with one of my former clients. She was one of my original clients a few years back and I absolutely loved creating content for her. She is such an amazing woman, very loving, caring, present, and ambitious. She truly makes my job easy and so enjoyable. Thank you queen Monibee for letting me be a very small part of your vision and passion. â¤ď¸đ

Thereâs so many different stages of showing up on social media as a business and believe it or not, only posting to stories is a specific phase many entrepreneurs go through.
Some reasons why entrepreneurs/business owners post to their own personal social media page or business page only on stories...
They feel like they do not have timeâĄď¸hire an editor or social media manager or put aside 30 minutes a day to post super simple videos or pictures.
They donât feel confident in what theyâre doing. Theyâre 100% confident in doing their own craft or art, but (for good reason) are confused or not confident in doing social media. âĄď¸follow a social media manager or someone in your industry thatâs killing it. Apply what theyâre doing in baby steps.
They truly believe they are doing it correctly when posting to stories âĄď¸ Okay first, this is the correct way when youâre in the very beginning phase of posting. Youâre showing up and thatâs the main thing, but stories only last 24 hours. Then they die! You want to post to your business feed (your business page). These posts last forever.
Now that youâve seen this you canât un-see it. I challenge you to invest in yourself, make the move and start posting on your business page and see more growth.
Will to take on this challenge? đ
This audio isnât quite trending any longer, BUT the info. in this reel is still SO relevant.

Providing clarity in your posts serves your audience in a greater way.
âĄď¸ If you have a dance class that focuses more on weight loss, than the actual technique of dance, share that.
âĄď¸ If you have a candle that is all natural and made from chamomile, make sure to note that. Donât automatically assume a person coming to look at your post for the first time will know that.
âĄď¸ If you work with electrical equipment and serve people with that electrical equipment, go into detail. We are not all educated about electrical equipment. Some of us have no idea what your video or picture is UNTIL you elaborate.
Assume your audience has no idea what youâre doing. Assume they are not educated about your profession, products and services. Because some of them really donât know, but once they do it draws them in and youâre then able to be of service.
I believe when you first make up your mind that youâre going to share your business on social media, itâs important to just simply show up. Donât overthink things, donât try to get all fancy with editing or transitions. Just focus on being authentic and sharing the knowledge and experiences that you already have, which are full of value. Thereâs several challenges psychologically that will most likely take place (not just for you, but they are common challenges that we place over ourselves like being too judgmental towards ourselves and not being confident enough). But once you simply show up for quite some time, I encourage you to level up and begin thinking about the fancier things, like the quality of your videos, adding transitions to keep people engaged, and adding a title to your videos to make it easier for your audience to know what theyâre clicking on as they scroll down your feed. Thereâs so much that goes into creating content. Some say to create as much as you can and forget about being perfect, but I say, take pride in your work. Donât focus on being perfect, but donât neglect creating content that brings value and is quality work. People notice when a post has been thought out and has value. People notice when your work is appealing. Thereâs many different phases that the majority of entrepreneurs go through when creating content. What is something you would like to add in your content creation, but are struggling to do so? #contentcreation #contentcreator #contentcreationstrategy #contentcreationtools #contentcreationtips #entrepreneur #igreels #socialmediadesign #socialmediamanagers #socialmediagrowth
