G-ECHO LAUD GOVERNOR GBOYEGA OYETOLA:

A socio political group projecting the giant stride of Governor Gboyega oyetola in the state ( G- ECHO) under the its Governor- General, Brig. Gen. Biodun Bashir Adewinmbi rtd has passed a vote of confidence on Governor Adegboyega Oyetola and expressed their believe that he make life meaningful for the people despite the lean resources of the state.
G-ECHO in particular expressed their appreciation to the people's Governor for the road rehabilitation going on in the state, Adding that the governor is doing exceedingly well, specifically the road from Ede to Ejigbo which has just been rehabilitated, also the Alekuwodo to WAEC , there are others going on at present; Moro junction to ife- Ibadan road, ilesa and Ada to igbajo, Modakeke, Aagba township road are on going in addition to the federal roads.
On Health; the health facilities are being upgraded in all the 332 wards with 278 already completed and being used currently, before now, the state hospital in Ejigbo was completely abandoned, the governor took it up and became the first isolation centre in osun, To say the least, the governor in less than two years has done marvellously well.

Sequel to the baseless, disgusting and shallow publication sponsored and released by one organization that calls itself " Osun Network for Equity and social justice on 18th day of August,2020 where they called on the governor to sacrifice his second term ambition for the sake purported Equity and justice, before I go further, I will indulge the admin of so - called organization to tell the public out there, their stand, position and location when prince olagunsoye oyinlola installed himself to the office for the second term.
I am very glad and elated that this organization never called on Governor oyetola not to contest again as a result of non- performance in office which means that we all agree that the man currently at the helm of affairs in osun state is doing a great job, then if this is an established fact, why should he sacrifice the good of the whole state for personal interest under the pretence of zoning? Should all the ongoing development being experienced and enjoyed across the state under oyetola be sacrificed on the premise that a district has not been able to produce Governor since 1993? We should all ruminate on this.
In another vein, it must also be established that the people of osun west were never deprived of right to become Governor of this state like other district neither were allinated from the governance of the state; instead they tactically continue to deprive themselves by scoring an own in almost every Governorship contest. What does that mean? Since when late Isiaka Adeleke tenure was short - lived by military government of General babangida in 1993, a particular political dynasty has been taking part in almost all the gubernatorial contest and they have been having upper hands in the process, thus incapacitating every other eligible and interested individual from that district, the opportunity of having a formidable platform to become Governor of osun state. OSUN ASSEMBLY AFFIRMS AMOTEKUN NOMINEES.

Osun State House of Assembly, on Tuesday affirmed Brig. Gen .Isa Ademola Aderibigbe( rtd) and Brig. Gen. Biodun Bashir ADEWINMBI ( rtd) as the chairman Governing board and corps Commander respectively of the state security network agency " AMOTEKUN".
The confirmation was done at today's plenary presided over by the speaker Timothy Owoeye after thorough scrutiny and screening which held last week Thursday.
The motion for the confirmation was moved by the majority leader of the house, Honourable Maruf Olanrewaju, who appreciated the Governor of the state for choosing the best for the security outfit, the alluded to the performance of the nominees as impressive and therefore sought their confirmation for the position.

OYETOLA NOMINATES ADEWINMBI AS CORPS COMMANDER AMOTEKUN!

The Governor of Osun State, Gboyega Oyetola, has nominated Brig Gen Bashir Abiodun Adewimbi (rtd.) as Corps Commander of Osun Security Network Agency (Amotekun)


This was made known at today’s plenary of the Osun State House of Assembly presided over by the Speaker, Timothy Owoeye.

The House of Assembly had on 7th July suspended plenary for two weeks in other to allow fumigation and disinfection of the Assembly complex.

The Speaker who read the Governor’s letter upon resumption, directed the nominees to submit 35 copies of their resume to the Assembly within 24hours.

The nominees are expected to appear at Thursday’s plenary by 11am for screening.

The Osun Security Network Agency (Amotekun) 2020 bill was passed by the State House of Assembly on 3rd March, 2020 and assented by Governor Gboyega Oyetola on the 13th March, 2020.

OYETOLA APPROVES CONSTRUCTION OF ANOTHER 16.55KM ROAD.

The Governor of the state of osun , Mr Adegboyega Oyetola, has approved the construction of the osogbo - kelebe- iragbiji road, spanning 16.55km.
This was disclosed through a statement signed by honorable commissioner for works and Transport,Engr. Remi Omowaye, who noted that the state Government will partner with Messrs slavabogu Nigeria Limited for the construction of the road using the contractor- Financed model.
Omowaiye said that although four major roads in the state were proposed for construction under this arrangement, the osogbo- kelebe - iragbiji was considered on the basis of its socio - economic importance and other parameters such as its ranking on the scale of citizens'needs.
