My Xmas outfit just arrived in the mail. It looks like it’s going to be a black and white Xmas. And move over ‘Die Hard’ this year’s Xmas movie 🍿 is going to be 4 quarters of glory from the 2023 Grand Final replay.

My wife thinks I’m a hoarder that needs to Marie Kondo some s**t out of our house.
Well now it is finally time to let go. We are downsizing. My hand has been forced…
I’ve let go the old Akai Boom Box I bought in 1985 from Mulhallen’s Retravision in Nhill with paper round money (it broke 30 years ago and I never got it fixed).
I’ve let go a little cigarette table from a William H Macy shoot we did in 2006 for a Stephen King series.
I’ve let go a signed poster from Peter Farrelly - who had the hots for my wife.
And I’ve finally let go an old art deco fan I have had for 20 years that I said I would get fixed and never did.
Now they will be the bane of someone else’s wife.

What an incredible year for the Pies and we are so excited for a ripper Grand Final.
I don’t know how the players and coaches do it - have been so anxious last two days I woke up at 4am today and started cleaning the house.
Last week’s 1 point win I nearly had a heart attack so going to have the paddles on standby today if it’s close.

Happy 70th to with doing a stellar job mc’ing a ripper opening night with Uncle Jack and (the Man from Oakleigh) and a beautiful film ‘Of An Age’ from Melbourne Director Goran Stolevski.
So chuffed to be at MIFF celebrating all aspects of filmmaking with so many talented peeps at Hamer Hall. Can’t wait to binge the festival over the next 3 weeks.

I’m feeling a little déjà vu to 12 months ago - so given the year we’ve had - it will come as no surprise if we do discover a meteor is headed straight for us or aliens are going to invade or Scomo is a robot controlled by Rupert Murdoch.

Working with
directing and shooting I always know from afar when Patto has nailed it. It’s a distinctive Director trademark. For some it’s symmetry, or long tracking shots or lens flare, slow motion or rapid motion cuts but for Patto…it’s this.

What joy it was working with the who were such awesome talent and loads of fun. Thanks also to coach Jeff Hopkins who was an absolute blast to work with and to have a laugh.
you were an absolute gem in the goals. robers thanks for some ripper bombs at goal that wandered into Melbourne Storm’s Craig Bellamy’s peripheral. doran and who kicked us off and made our extras feel like superstars.
