Ladies and Gentlemen, Madames et Monsieurs, Dammen und Herren!
Today Alain Fleche published in La Gazette Bleu published Francois Carierr Ensemble - Openness' review. He wrote few beautiful words and some truly spectacular phrases! Thank's a lot Mr. Fleche!
Have you ever heard music like this, where everyone goes all out, without ever trying to do too much, or breaking the thread, however tenuous, of a permanent common vibration, yet playing with conviction, panache, attentive strength and sustained attention! Remaining always present without ever putting yourself forward more than necessary... Without seeking the feat or the challenge... Just in constant harmony, in the intuition of perfection.

Yes, triple happiness of what is close to the perfection of Beauty.

A masterpiece!

ps: isn't this visual reminiscent of "The Origin of the World"?

Friends, I would like to thank you immensely for what a wonderful audience you are. Thanks to you, we have had the opportunity and privilege to release 20 albums in 2023, that have been liked by journalists, which have been judged by critics from many excellent editors, but which, most importantly for me, have found your sympathetic, sometimes enthusiastic approval.
Without your support, FSRecords could not operate. I have seen this even more clearly in the past year than in previous years. I would like to thank you for the whole of 2023 and wish you all the best in 2024. Stay with us!

Thanks Hrayr Attarian for this Critic s picks 2023 JAZZIZ magazine

"Saxophonist Ivo Perelman is a restless innovator, and his recorded output is as inventive as it is prolific. On the exhilarating Molten Gold he explores a new sonic texture by playing with the equally idiosyncratic trombonist Ray Anderson. In addition to Anderson, the quartet includes another Chicago native, drummer Reggie Nicholson who developed his unique sound with the Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians (AACM). Frequent Perelman collaborator, guitarist Joe Morris, here playing double bass, completes the ensemble...

Not surprisingly, for Perelman, Molten Gold is another superlative work of improvisation. His colleagues on this two-disc release share in his creative vision, making the music even more compelling. This a sublime example of artistic collaboration, simultaneously individualistic and synergistic."

Dears, first of all we would love to wish You all Merry Christmas. Have a great time and read a read All This This Here review in Italian magazine Musica Jazz. Mr. Cerini wrote:
The work is naturally complex and multi-layered and, similarly to what has already been done in the past, it enhances the word: in particular, Beckett's last poem, What Is The Word takes on a central prominence, thus offering the opportunity for a reflection on illness and pain, on aphasia and the emptiness of content (the so-called "crisis of presence"). Guy's passionate erudition allows him to stratify ideas and fragments, to blend languages in defiance of meaning, but the final outcome does not propose solutions, but continuous puzzles. In the end, the journey between styles and periods (a true "history of European music") is – as always – nothing but a painful re-flexion on the human condition, on the backdrop of History. The musical aspects, of extreme complexity, are not lacking in listening, to restore violent emotions, enhanced by a truly unique orchestra, characterized by an almost supernatural harmony.

"People sometimes ask me, "What music are you listening to?" or "What kind of music do you like to listen to?" and a lot of the time when I tell them they're like, "Wha?" So for some reason I thought if I made a list of what I got into this year it might....clear some things up? Anyway, via the below list, which is neither ranked nor alphabetical but in more or less te order I heard them, I unequivocally endorse all the following:

As you know The Art Fuse is named Boston's premier online art magazine. Michael Ullman just reviewed there Seven Skies Orchestra. He wrote: The added members of this sextet only enrich the musical possibilities: new sounds and shapes emerge, and the result is fascinating. Thanks a lot. We appreciate it a lot!!!!!

Not so long ago, we celebrated Hal Russell's birthday. A musician of greatness and not appreciated as he deserved. Also not long ago, Kurt Gottschalk reviewed the album The Chicago River in The New York City Jazz Records, which is a complete recording of the legendary concert given by Hal Russell with Joel Futterman.

Many Thanks to Maciej Lewenstein!!!!!!!
