I just picked this boy up from a bad situation.
Honestly, I just lost Shy Guy, and wasn't sure when I wanted to get another so soon, but I saw this poor babe on craiglist and my gut just told me to go and get him. There was so much you couldn't see in the photos 😢 I'm just glad I saw him and decided to try and help.
He was Living in filth, had over grown nails, urine scald on his feet, filthy teeth(3rd pic), and a massive blockage in his boar sack (pic 4, pretty sure he hadn't been able to p**p properly for at least the day I got him).
As far as I can tell, they were feeding him, but not much else.
I bathed him, clipped his nails, cleaned out his ears, and have been working on brushing all the old hair and debris from his fur that the bath loosened up. He's in quarantine from my other boys and has an appointment on Sunday to check his overall health and see if he needs to be treated for any parasites.
My heart breaks for the situation he was in, but I am so glad I saw him and got him before it was too late. He's very sweet. Nervous, but curious. We are calling him Cheap Cheap, continuing are Super Mario naming theme.
