Just because we could, we made a micro short horror film in one night.
It's not perfect but it was a ton of fun to make and although we made a ton of mistakes, those mistakes have become lessons that we'll take into the next project.... which was kind of the whole point of the exercise...

Anyway, hope you like it

I've had an amazing time in Lapland, Finland, shooting video content for travel specialists .

It's been a real adventure in such a beautiful part of the world - I've done things I never imagined I'd do in my lifetime and made a whole bunch of new friends along the way. I feel blessed to have had such an amazing opportunity

Thank you to all at for making me feel so welcome (especially for the magical snowmobile sunrise) and to for having enough faith in me to fly me out here in the first place.

For anyone who's interested in the work that went into creating my first short film, 'Circles', here's a video that goes into some of the behind the scenes stuff...
(NOTE: when I refer to it as 'my first crappy film', I'm actually referencing the fact that in order to get good at making films, you have to make a bunch of crappy stuff first - the truth is, I'm actually really proud of my first attempt! I've had a blast over visiting in . As well as spending much needed time with family, it gave me a chance to practise my camera work around the stunning location of Huércal-Overa. It's like living in a mini grand canyon! I even made a short movie during my time here - can't wait to start editing it all together and see how the story turns out... watch this space!
I also found time to visit the beach too (hence the obligatory photo of sunburnt feet - sorry about that)!

A ton of editing was required to make this but none of that would have been possible without the expert camera work from Sam Irving or the assistance of Anna Badger Brookes on the day of shooting. Also, thanks goes to Noah Hawkins (Spiderpeace Audio Labs) for additional audio, Ed Dowdeswell for BTS footage (coming soon!), Olly Lavery for helping out with the green screen bits and Millie Hawkins for brainstorming the narrative with me.
