We are living in an information crisis. The evolution of the media business has led to the loss of trusted local news, a prioritization of high-information paying news consumers, and the rapid spread of disinformation fueled by these new click-for-profit and attention economies.

Today we are announcing Good Information Inc., a new civic incubator that invests in solutions to increase the flow of fact based information online. plans to invest in, incubate and scale new business models and smart distribution strategies that are capable of breaking through echo chambers and information silos to reach consumers with trusted information.

At Good Information Inc. we believe good information is the lifeblood of democracy and that there is unmet demand for fact-based information, and increased investment in new models that place a higher value on serving communities truth over clickbait and protecting democracy over profits. Meeting that demand is our goal.
