⚠ Warning: Long post ahead! 😅 ⚠

6 years ago, I started my career as a general virtual assistant. My days were filled with a little bit of everything. From managing calendars, responding to emails, and tackling admin tasks. While I enjoyed helping entrepreneurs and teams stay organized, I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was missing.

As I worked with more businesses, I found myself drawn to marketing. The challenge of creating campaigns, crafting messages that resonated, and seeing how small tweaks could lead to big results sparked a genuine interest. So, I decided to make the leap and focus on marketing.

However, the transition wasn’t entirely smooth. 😅 Instead of focusing on a specific area, I dabbled in various niches such as social media, email marketing, content creation, website management, and more. I became good at many things but didn’t truly master any one area.

At first, I loved the learning process and the variety of work, but over time, the constant juggling started to take its toll. I found myself stretched too thin, feeling more overwhelmed than accomplished. Burnout, stress, and anxiety crept in. It got so bad that I couldn’t even sit in my office chair without feeling sick to my stomach like I was going to die or vomit. I knew something had to change.

Fast forward six months into my hiatus, I found myself slowly regaining the energy to work again, motivated by bills and debts that were piling up ofcourse. 😅😅

It was during this time that I started handling email marketing as part of my role. Unlike other tasks, email marketing stood out. It excited me in ways no other work ever had. I loved crafting engaging messages, analyzing data, and seeing real results. This was the one part of my job that never felt like a chore. It kept me energized and motivated, no matter how busy things got.

Over time, it became clear that email marketing wasn’t just another task for me, it was my passion. While it wasn’t an overnight decision, I eventually decided to niche down and focus on what I loved most. That choice changed everything.

Today, I specialize in helping SaaS and tech brands create thoughtful, impactful email campaigns that foster genuine connections with their audiences. Looking back, I’m grateful for the opportunity to explore different areas of marketing. Every experience brought me closer to discovering my true passion.

It’s been a journey filled with trial and error, but also immense growth and fulfillment. I’m excited to keep improving, learning, and helping brands communicate meaningfully through email marketing.
