https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jj0Izus91_s

On November 11th, 2015, Rob Lawless began a project to meet 10,000 people he had never met before AND spend an hour talking to each of them. At the time of the first podcast released in 2021, he was just over 4,700 people. Rob was being featured all over the media – he was interviewed on talk shows with popular hosts such as Ryan Seacrest and Kelly Clarkson.

Since the first release, Sean ran into Rob at the Poconos Tough Mudder in September 2022. He updated Sean on the project and he’s up to 5,205 people! Rob now makes a livable salary through speaking with companies like KPMG and Shell.

We are rereleasing an episode we published in December 2021.

Episode 76!

Kate Cline, RDN, CLT, CPT, RYT and host Sean Corvelle talk about:

1. The magic of food and nutrition
2. The importance of gut health
3. The power of the mind in healing the body

How often do you feel bloated and uncomfortable after eating? Have you been told to just "eat more fiber,” but you still don't feel any better.

Kate Cline is a registered dietitian and functional nutritionist who specializes in helping athletes with inflammatory and GI related issues. Kate is also the host of the Gut Check Podcast.

Kate Cline had always been an active person, but after a series of injuries, she was starting to feel demotivated. She had a back injury that led to four years of pain, a meniscus tear, a dislocated shoulder, and arthritis. She was finally able to start running again. But then she severely sprained her ankle. Kate was starting to feel like she would never catch a break. Her boyfriend told her that she didn't know how to quit, and she realized that he was right. She had always been a fighter, and she wasn't going to let her injuries stop her. Kate was determined to recover.

Episode 75!
No Excuses Podcast
"Running towards Alzheimer's: A father and son's story of hope and resilience"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ejtjqD5Pck&t=4s

When Mark Macy is diagnosed with Alzheimer's, he and his son Travis decide to take on the challenge of Eco Challenge Fiji together, proving that anything is possible with family by your side.

We discuss Mark’s Alzheimer's diagnosis in 2018, how he felt leading up to it, and how he feels now. Travis reads some of his father’s inspiring and optimistic journal entries. Mace may have some new limitations, but that doesn’t stop him from living life to the fullest. Travis goes into detail on his own response to his father’s diagnosis and how he deals with the anxiety and panic attacks.

Travis and Mark chat about their love for outdoor activities and their OCR history, including Mace being the first person with Alzheimer's to participate in the Eco-Challenge Race.

Travis speaks about his book, “A Mile at a Time,” which brings light to taking a moment to stop, breathe, and be present while you tackle one thing at a time. He also has a podcast, “The Travis Macy Show.”
