We have received 574 applications from countries and regions including China, Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. Having completed the Preliminary and Final round, our panel of jury, made up of renowned music educators from Canada, China and USA, have selected the ultimate winners for the competition.
Winners of the same prizes are listed in chronological order of the time they submitted their videos. We cordially congratulate all of the above winners! Trophies and Certificates will be delivered to your address as soon as it is possible.
Here, we would like to pay tribute to teachers who have shown tremendous commitment and success in music education. This year, the awards of “Exceptional Teacher” are presented to Ms Ula Zhang from Canada and Ms Lu Lu from the USA. The honour of “ Outstanding Teacher” is awarded to Ms Li Honngmei and Ms Li Bing.

The past 18 months have been particularly difficult for our global community. Amidst the fear and anxiety of COVID-19, we try as hard as we can to maintain a balance between isolation and normality.
With commitment and hard work, Canada “Joy of Music” International Invitational Piano Competition 2021 has been a great success!
