After a bomb threat at the middle school last week this morning there's been one made at the high school.

"[HCSD] There has been a bomb threat at Wade Hampton High School.

Bus riders will be transported to Hampton Elementary until the school has been cleared by law enforcement.

Students who drive and car riders should not report until 10:00 a.m."

ISO is the third part of the exposure triangle. Think of it as your cameras sensitivity to light. ISO basically amplifies this sensitivity.

Every camera has a base ISO, typically it's between 100 - 400. This will produce the best image quality, or the best image quality with minimal noise.

The lower your ISO is, the darker the image will be. The more you raise your ISO, the brighter your image will be. The ISO range can be anywhere from 50 to upwards of 100,000. With this being said, the more your ISO is raised, the more noise will be amplified into your photo. Noise looks a bit like static or grain. Noise is present in all photos, but it's typically not visible at low ISO settings. Once the ISO is raised, that noise becomes visible.

With many digital cameras in the past, to keep usable photos, your ISO had to stay low. If you exceeded 800 or 1600, the photos would often be unusable. More modern cameras, this can be extended to 3200, 6400, and I've even had usable images at over 10,000. A lot of this depends on your specific camera, and the sensor size.

With this being the third part of the triangle, when I make the next post I will explain how the three correlate. I hope this makes sense!
