TITA HANGOUT RULES FOR THE COOL

Participation guide:
-- Audio on mute

-- Or type your question/comment sa chatroom

A few RULES for newbies:

1. PRIVACY. You don’t have to say anything or open your video if you don’t feel comfortable doing so.

Also, what happens at the hangout stays in the hangout!

So, please no screenshots or secret recordings, audio/audiovisual, or whatever means.

2. SAFETY. Please do not contact people on the zoom hangout. Unsolicited contact is generally discouraged.

3. RESPECT. Feel free to say what you want, just please be mindful of what you say to and about others.

4. JOKES. We like ‘em funny when we laugh WITH and not AT people.

5. GLITCH. Tech is a tricky tool. It connects us but also limits communication which could cause misunderstandings. So please be careful that we do not judge or call out people from the little that we hear or see on screen.

Ang saya ng Sabado night! Muli, maraming salamat sa mga dumalo sa ating monthly zoom Tita Hangout kagabi. 🥂

Marami tayong nasandok sa samahang ito, as usual. May masaya, may nakakapukaw-isip, may challenging sa personal and political level, at may mga walang kamatayan hugot at triggers hahaha. All in good faith and fun, of course.

Loving the diversity in opinions and experiences shared in this safe space. Yep, no judgment pa rin! Palinamnam nang palinamnam na rin ang exchange at insights ng mga kapwa saya! Maasim, maalat, matamis o malapot man, ang happy lang ng timpla.

What happens in a TitaTibx party, stays in a TitaTibx party! Basa!

RULES OF ENGAGEMENT:

1. We'll open the room and start accepting peeps by 7:45pm.

2. Pakita muna protocol: Have video and audio on muna pagpasok sa room. No paramdam, no entry!

3. Video on, audio off protocol: Once inside and acknowledged, pls mute your audio. Ok lang to leave video on basta walang R-18 na eksena ha.

4. Your titas will announce further tech guides once everyone has settled in na sa room by 8:15 at start na. Patience is a virtue.

5. GET THE PARTY STARTED: Your titas will do a brief intro kapag game na.

6. Para lang chika sa umpisa, we'll ask attendees to introduce themselves briefly so everyone could see and feel na we're all friendly and nice titas in the room. No 1-page résumé ha. Name, location if bet mo, general job description (e.g. nurse), ganyan.

7. Feel free to ask questions to the group or to individuals by raising your hand (via zoom icon or real hand) or sending a message sa general chatbox. Once acknowledged, you'll be given the floor to speak. Para orderly ang procedure natin.

8. When addressing individuals, respect their privacy by refraining from asking openly about their "relationship status" in the PRESENT, PAST, and FUTURE. Play it by ear natin ha. Baka sensitive ang mga tao kasi.

9. Allow individuals to speak for themselves. Do not reveal personal things about them before they do. In short, hinay sa chismis unless gustong pag-usapan nung tao.

10. If you meet someone in the room and would like to connect with after, please do not be creepy. Refer to Season 2 CREEPYTIBX episode! It is also their prerogative to respond or not. Louder for the people at the back: BAWAL CREEPY!!!

Thank you for celebrating the Titatibx anniversary with the Titatibx community! This was originally planned as an actual meet-up but we all know what happened. Bawal na magkakadikit ang hininga! Luz!

Since this is the first time we are going to party virtually, we have put out some guidelines to help all of us enjoy our time.

RULES FOR JOINING!

1. Be ready to bring and find FUN!

2. Get your favorite drink! KKB ha.

3. Check your WiFi connection, light, mic, gadget charge, video, and audio.

4. We will start welcoming guests at 7:50. Mas happy if early ang arrival!

5. Pakita muna protocol: Pls let your titas see who's signing on, para lang alam naming tunay kayong tao at hindi any kind of entity from beyond hahaha! Alam na dis! Have video and audio on muna pagpasok sa room.

6. Video on, audio off protocol: Once inside and acknowledged, pls mute your audio muna, but you can leave video on kung gusto mong masilayan ka namin lagi. To manage the room better, turn on your audio lang if may sasabihin ka.

7. Kindly mute your audio if someone is talking.

8. Some wifi speeds may be slower so please give some 'space' for the person talking to finish before responding.

HAPPY NATIONAL LE***AN DAY, PINAS! Yes, may ganung factor.♀️♀️

December 8 has been the recognized day for us, as a result of the FNLRC: First National Le***an Rights Conference back in 1996. It is this reason why we decided to launch our little podcast project on this day last year.

And what a year it has been, ano mga ka-tibx! From having a volcano erupt on us, to being locked down due to a global pandemic, the country and the world have been adjusting ever since.

Adjust? Story of our le***an lives, right? Right!

As we wrap up our second season, we hope you had a grand time listening to our thoughts, opinions, chismisan, bungisngisan, kuro-kuro, and insights. Patawa man o profound, sana naka-jive kayo sa tita vibes namin.
