Alex (left) and Shane (right) Beeshligaii are Navajo silversmiths. Shane, loom artist, learned his artform from his father and started making jewelry around seven years old. He designs anything from traditional Navajo jewelry to more of a modernized style of micro-inlay that his father Alex taught him. Shane make jewelry because it’s the main way for him to keep in contact with his cultural heritage.

Those artists invited to Loom will attend an in-person Onboarding session on Sunday September 23, 2023, from 9am - 4pm, which include:
- Meeting fellow Loom Artists and Administration
- A complimentary portrait with a professional photographer
- Training on how to make stunning photographs of their art work and begin posting product online
- An artist honorarium
- An opportunity to apply for additional support from the Loom Investment Fund for technology

Accepted applicants are also invited to participate in a special in-person holiday marketplace in Tucson, in early December!
