Which platforms do you love?
Are they the same as the platforms your audience are on?
Whilst it’s not a good idea to only ever be on one platform ( accounts can be shut down, you can be locked out if an account or similar), it’s also not a good idea to try to be on EVERY platform!
It’s impossible to produce enough content for all platforms, and create the content that suits the platform niche and suits your audience!
How many platforms are you on and are they the ones you love? Let me know in the comments. ⬇️
LinkedIn news!
News about birthdays and work anniversaries in a separate feed.
Matt Navarra referred to as putting,” all crap no one cares about in a separate celebrations feed 🎉”
Do you agree or do you want to see notifications like this in your feed?

Happy Valentine’s Day!
I hope you get what you all really want today! 😂😘😘
If you’re always on the move, busy at work or just have a never ending to-do list, scheduling your social media posts is a must!
There are lots of schedulers out there and all have their own pros and cons.
Hootsuite is one of the major schedulers and has recently allowed that if you have a free version you will soon lose access from March 31st, unless you upgrade to a professional plan.
Later decide to reduce the amount of free posts they allow, to just ten last year.
As major schedulers introduce higher fees, the ability to schedule natively on both Instagram and LinkedIn has been introduced, alongside Facebook. Much loved Canva also allows you to schedule straight from the app.
Which scheduler to you use and why would you recommend them? Let me ( and others) know in the comments.⬇️
Who has time to film a Reel every day?
Not very many of us - it's much easier to film your Reels in batches, meaning that when you film for one Reel you film for several all at the same time and save for later use.
The advantage of batch filming is that it saves a lot of time.
An entire month of videos can be filmed in one go. They can then be edited and scheduled for future use.
Filming in batches also increases productivity because you can concentrate solely on the project at hand. In between sessions of shooting, there will be no uploading, editing, or captioning to worry about.
Are you a fan of batch filming? Let me know in the comments.
As a pale girl this has basically has been what it’s felt like again in my head trying to work at a laptop and phone in the heat the last two days.
( Not to mention going into a school hall to watch a year 6 performance yesterday)
How have you coped with the heat?

The world of social media is a strange place at the moment, isn’t it? So, I’m reposting this video I shared a long time ago for mental health awareness week.
A lot of it is still applicable and there are probably some more I could add!
I don’t know about you but aside from the fact social media can be full of things to trigger anxiety at the moment, it’s also fraught with the pitfalls of how that anxiety can tip us over the edge when it comes to responding to other peoples’ posts.
I am normally a “scroll if I don’t like” kind of person but this week I have felt highly irritated by insensitive posts that I’m sure I would normally be able to ignore. I’ve had to follow my own advice and write a reply in a saved note and sit on it for a few hours to see if I still want to reply to a post.
We can’t avoid social media if we have a business on social media but if you need to- do post less and set time limits if you’re struggling on here!
Do weed out some accounts that need muting if not unfollowing ( and be wary of mass unfollowing as Instagram won’t like this behaviour!)
Do take time away from screens if you can.
Don’t feel pressurised into posting about world events, it doesn’t mean you do not care but it is a highly sensitive subject and you certainly don’t want to be seen to be utilising a situation to make post subjects- on the flip side we are all human and showing your human side and feeling passionate enough to post about something that resonates with you is also ok!
Do follow accounts that you are happy to see in your feed for whatever reason….oh and lastly…be kind to your social media manager if you have one…we are on here all day long! 💛

Over the weekend was World Emoji Day!
It’s difficult to imagine a world in which emojis don’t exist. Sometimes when platitudes sound wrong and cliched and you’ve written and deleted several replies ...from the care emoji to the heart emoji, one emoji can say more sometimes than we can manage to type!
What did you make of the new emojis unveiled? The list included a saluting face, melting smiley face, biting lip, pregnant people, multicolor handshakes among others.
What emojis would you like to see added? Or after recent event there are some that many of us feel need removing or their usage should prompt a response from social media platforms!
What are you most used emojis?
🧙♂️♟🧀😜💡 are my last used emojis ( make of that what you will!😀😂😂) What are yours?
