Located on the island of Kyushu, Shimabara is a famous city with clean water in Japan. Tourists come here to be surprised when each group of Koi fish swim under the sewer, because this fish can only live in clean water. Shimabara lies at the foot of Unzen volcano, the city's water is sourced from this mountain. It is also known as the "city of water" by the quality of pure, clean water here. Clean water that the city has also been due to the eruption of the Unzen volcano in the late 90s of the 18th century, forming geysers and pure streams.
