* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Northwestern Marshall County in northeastern Alabama...
Northwestern Jackson County in northeastern Alabama...
Madison County in north central Alabama...
Limestone County in north central Alabama...
Cullman County in north central Alabama...
Morgan County in north central Alabama...
Southeastern Lawrence County in northwestern Alabama...
Moore County in Middle Tennessee...

Western Franklin County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 1245 AM CST.

* At 1203 AM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 11 miles southwest of Lewisburg to Tanner to 8 miles
northeast of Brushy Lake to near Carbon Hill, moving northeast at
65 mph. Multiple areas of rotation are present within this line.
This line of storms has a history of producing wind damage.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
Huntsville, Decatur, Madison, Athens, Cullman, Hartselle,
Wi******er, Arab, Fayetteville, and Moores Mill.
Instructions
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CST for north central,

Severe Storms possible across the state Saturday Evening into Early Sunday - Here's what you need to know:

Timing:
- 🕘 Florence, Russellville, Muscle Shoals (10 PM - 12 AM)
- 🕚 Huntsville, Decatur, Cullman, Hartselle, Jasper (11 PM - 1 AM)
- 🕒 Fort Payne, Gadsden, Anniston (1 AM - 3 AM)

Threats:
- 🌬️ Damaging Winds in Excess of 60 MPH
- 🌪️ Tornadoes
- 🌧️ Flash Flooding (Especially Across North Alabama where several inches of rain have fallen this week)

The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has placed our area under a Marginal Risk (Level 1/5) for severe weather today and tonight. The main threats will be damaging winds, with a very low chance for a tornado.

🌧️ With the heavy rainfall we've already seen over the past 48 hours, flooding could become a concern. NEVER drive or walk into floodwaters—Turn Around, Don’t Drown! 🚗💨

In northwest Alabama, Colbert, Franklin, Lauderdale and Lawrence. * WHEN...Until 900 PM CST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 223 PM CST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Donald E. Green Active Adult Center
- Location: 1625 Cleveland Ave SW Cullman, AL
- Hours: Open as a warming station as needed. Closes if no one is checked in by 9 PM.
- Prohibited Items: No pets/animals, firearms/weapons, ci******es, to***co, vapes, e-ci******es, or alcohol allowed. Police presence will be on site.
- Assistance Contact: If the center is closed and you need assistance, call Dispatch at 256-775-7145.

Hanceville Civic Center
- Location: 902 Commercial St, Hanceville, AL 35077
- Availability: Open on a need-to basis during extremely cold weather.
- Contact: For assistance or to open the center, call Pastor Bo Garrison at 256-595-8931.

Bethsadia Fire Department
- Location: 454 Co Rd 804, Cullman, AL 35057
- Availability: Operating as a warming station on a need-to basis.

Dodge City Community Center (located in basement of town hall)
Beginning at 6pm Sunday and continuing throughout the weather event.

The Link of Cullman County

- Hours: Open to the community during normal business hours.

Unsheltered International

* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation expected Northern Alabama and
Southern Middle Tennessee. Total snow and sleet accumulations
between 2 and 4 inches and ice accumulations up to one tenth of an
inch with locally higher amounts possible.

* WHERE...Portions of north central, northeast, and northwest
Alabama and southern middle Tennessee.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 6 AM CST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Friday morning and evening commutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
