January 1st meal ✌🏽
Morog Polao &
Chicken - Potato Cutlet :
Mix boiled potato & minced chicken meat with fresh onion, fresh garlic, chili powder, salt, black pepper, shredded cheese, fresh cilantro, flour/cornstarch as needed.
Shape these as cutlets , dunk in egg mixture, roll in bread crumb. Freeze for at least 30mins & Fry.
when you can’t get halal cuisine except indian/middle eastern 🥹🥹🥲🥲 & you miss these.
Dry Fruit Cake
Beat 2 eggs, 1 cup sugar, 1/3cup melted butter, 1/2 cup milk, 2 tbsp applesauce together by putting one by one in bowl.
Add 1 & 1/2 cup flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 1tbsp vanilla flavor and mix everything.
Now drench 1 cup of mixed dried fruit in flour and put into the cake mixture.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350F for 50-55mins.
Fruit Salad :
1 can crushed pineapple, handful of apples, strawberries, blueberries, 8 oz cream cheese beaten, 3/4 tbsp cool whip
Shrimp Rangoon
Mix 6oz Cream Cheese with cooked 150g shrimp , garlic powder, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, green onion, salt.
Pour 1/2 - 1tsp filling into the spring roll/wonton/sambusa sheets and shape as you want.
Deep fry or bake or airfry with oil spray.

Marinate leg quarters with yogurt,salt,black pepper,garlic powder,ground cinnamon,ground nutmeg,ground clove,chili powder,oregano
Bake in the oven for 50-60minutes in 350F.
Serve with mayonnaise mixed with garlic and yogurt.

জীবনে প্রথমবারের মত একটা কম্প্লিকেটেড রান্নার সব আইটেম, যখন রানতে মন চাইসে তখনই হাতের কাছে থাকার যে ব্যাপার টা॥ ~
Now this is the improvisation of মিষ্টি কুমড়া চিংড়ি with মিষ্টি আলু চিংড়ি (squash is optional)
সব মসলা কষানোর সময় টমেটো কুচি সাথে দিয়ে দিব for making it a gravy alike. তারপর মিষ্টি আলু ভুনে পানি দিয়ে সিদ্ধ করবো। পানি শুকালে চিংড়ি দিয়ে ভুনে ঝোলের পানি দিয়ে ঢেকে দিবো।

বাধাকপি পিয়াজ মরিচ কুচি করে ডিম ফেটিয়ে নিবো। এক চিমটি বেকিং পাউডার দিয়ে সামান্য ময়দা/আটা দিবো।
ডিম ভাজার মত করে তেল ছাড়া সেকে নিবো।
সাথে মেয়োনিজ,টমেটো কেচাপ মিক্সড সস আর দুধচা।

ফ্রাইড রাইসের উপর চিজ। জরুরি ছিল না কিন্তু স্বাদ ঠিকি বেড়ে গিয়েছিল so keeping it as a reminder!

কাবুলি চানার ডাল
ভাতের সাথে খাওয়ার জন্য এভাবে করলে একটা তরকারি বারলো।
তেলে পিয়াজ আদা রসুন বাটা দিয়ে কষিয়ে হলুদ মরিচ ধনিয়া দিয়ে ছোট করে কাটা আলু লবণ দিতে হবে। আলু ঢেকে সিদ্ধ করে আগে থেকে সিদ্ধ করা চানা দিয়ে জ্বাল দিব।তারপর টমেটো কাঁচা মরিচ দিয়ে যেকোন একটা চাট মশলা মিক্স দিয়ে জ্বাল দিয়ে নামিয়ে নিব। একটু ধনেপাতা ছিটিয়ে দিব।

Hearty Chicken Stew Fry celery,onion,carrots in butter/oil and put your chicken pieces with bone. Fry and cover for some time so chicken releases some juices. Add green chili, salt, chili powder, coriander powder and add a little bit hot water to prevent burning. When it dries down, add ginger garlic paste mix and add potatoes. Add tomato sauce/paste, slowly add hot water and scrape the bottom of the pan. Cover and cook. While it’s 80% done , add cilantro & cover again. Strawberry Shortcake: Whisk 3 eggs & 1 cup granulated sugar together. Pour 3/4 cup oil & whisk till well blended.Mix 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup strawberry jam, 2tsp vanilla essence altogether.Mix 2 & 1/4 cup flour, 3tsp baking powder, 1/2tsp salt into the wet mixture.
