Tonight at AKA, Besty and Falmé with the choicest grooves out there

Boy Electric is Back on Saturday with Falmé.
Falmé has been surrounded by DJs and musicians since he can remember. It wasn’t until he began attending house events on the African continent that he really fell in love with the idea of playing music himself. In January 2022, influenced by his close friends headlining roof top bashes and sunshine pool parties, Falmé decided to try his hand at becoming a DJ. Fast forward to the summer and he was playing his first ever gig! A sundowner party, backdropped by the magical skyline of Nairobi, Kenya.

Having cut his teeth alongside the most talented DJs in East Africa and having played some of the best venues Kenya has to offer, Falmé returned to the UK with a love for deep/afro house anthems and long euphoric drops.

When the day job meets the night job. If you don’t know me personally, I also work at a school. Our sixth form leadership team (brilliant kids) organised loads of cool events for Black History Month, and as part of it asked me to do a little amapiano set at lunchtime on Friday. Of course, I obliged.
