BREAKING: Axie Infinity Version 1.1.0a Update Second Deployment

We are releasing a new version of the game today, including improvements to the game’s performance and the return of challenging your friends.

• Axies will reset to level one anytime they change owners. This change has been live since the first announcement.
• Challenges are back! You can now challenge a trainer on your friends list to a friendly duel.
• Accounts under 800 MMR will no longer receive SLP from the adventure, arena, or the daily quest. Please see below for more information on this.
• Match history will not be saved on the servers, we will bring this feature back once we have had a chance to optimize it.

More Information About the 800 MMR Update

We’ve received a considerable amount of questions, feedback, and concerns regarding our gameplay adjustments in the 1.1.0a release, in particular the 800 MMR restriction. We thought we’d share some details on what motivated this experiment.

What are the elements that we believe create a healthy Axie gaming ecosystem? First and foremost, we believe that our game experiences should be designed so that community members are motivated to build gradual mastery over time. We also believe that each community member has a role to play in ensuring everyone’s gameplay success (through education, coaching, sharing feedback, etc). Finally, the game and its underlying economy must be sound. We strongly believe that any method where the game is manipulated to gain financial benefit without having to build skill threatens the entire ecosystem.

A review of today’s player data reveals that we have some work to do balancing the gameplay experience. In particular, we have evidence of “bots”, gaming accounts that are scripted to play without a real player, alongside other examples of odd in-game behavior. Today’s MMR restriction was implemented to eliminate poor in-game behavior. To be clear, our ultimate goal is to reward mastery of the game and everyone’s honest attempts to become a great player. As with all experiments, we’ll likely both resolve issues, and perhaps even create new ones.

We believe in you: each and every human in our community has the ability to improve and become proficient in the arena. This change was made with this confidence in mind. That said, we intend to collect considerable data around this tweak: both within the game, and from our community forums (Discord, social media, etc).

- The devs holds the large number of $AXS token.
- The release of the $AXS Staking unlocks the key aspect of the Ronin Dex.
- Ronin Dex will reduce the friction in the market in terms of buying WETH, SLP etc.
- The release of the Ronin Dex will make the SLP price more stable than what we have right now.
- Will not yet alter the breeding formula of SLP and AXS.
- Burning SLP Mechanisms has already been formulated by the Devs since 2018.
- Burning Mechanism: Release your Axie in exchange for resources that you can use to upgrade.
- The Devs cannot release all the updates at once as it will hurt the economy. Yes, the SLP will exponentially rise but it will not be
sustainable.

- E-sport Server will come soon.
- The roadmap will be updated in the coming months.
- Recently had a big meeting for the land gameplay.
- In the land, you can craft, harvest resources and build structures.
- There will also have an option to fight for resources in the other plots.
- The Devs will update regarding on land on the right time.
- Axie Infinity currently has no threat in terms of competition.

- The Devs takes the balancing patches really seriously.
- The balance patches are based on 2 aspects, Data and entertainment.
(What cards are being used too much, or too easy to use and makes the game not fun enough)
- Balancing patches are coming on Season 19.
- No date yet for the release of Season 19.
- Energy gain, steal and poison are hard to balance.

- 50% of the new comers in Axie Infinity doesn't know how the crypto works.
- The Devs can't give back your assets. That's not how the blockchain works.

- The collabland was very beneficial to the Discord update as it separates Axie owners to someone who's just spreading FUD.
- The Axie community needs to be really careful where to get informations.
- It's very easy to craft positive/negative about Axie Infinity, be careful.
- Shorting SLP, Hiring people to spread FUD, Bots farming are the new problems the Devs are facing.
- Nfts will change the game industry.
- Axie Infinity is a nation, $2B worth of transactions. Only 4.25% are being taxed by the Devs, and the rest is for the nation.
As you are being incentivized for your time and effort.
- There's currently NO Ronin mobile wallet.
- Ronin Mobile wallet, coming soon.
- Security is one of the main concern of the Devs. It's taking more time but assures us that it will be worth it.

- On YGG, Unethical Behavior allegations about the Devs, Aleksander is an advisor and seed investor of YGG. He's giving advice on the business side but that doesn't mean they will give a biased benefit. Tips on how to counter the current meta team Reptile,Beast, and Plant(RBP) using Aqua,Beast, and Plant(ABP).

-Try to count the energy of your opponent so that you can predict on how will he play his reptile.
-Conserve energy and card for the attack since the reptile cards can't kill you with an all out attack except if the damage did critical.
-Much better if your aqua has a zero cost card like Mint, Bidens, and cockoo to remove the stun debuff.

UPDATE: NOT RELATED TO AXIE BUT ABOUT BTC DOMINANCE.

The start of 2021 we saw BTC .D topped out at 70.21% and consistently fell until the market crashed in April - May. The Dominance % bounced off 44% and slowly started creeping back up. A major key in analyzing this trend was seeing that the dominance didn't even reject or touch the 50% dominance level, signaling that the move upwards was a relief rally and the downtrend will resume.

Taking a look at the 2017 move we saw it come all the way down to 35% in one straight shot, then a quick downturn to the 40% level. This time around, i'm believing that we're going to see the opposite where the Dominance first hit 40% and then the 2nd time around it comes down to hit the 35% level where it is finished from there.

Most of the major cap coins have not touched their ATH in respect to the BTC ratio and they need to before the altcoin season is finished. The small capped coins have basically all created new all time highs and surpassed their respective BTC ratio.

This 2nd altcoin season cycle should occur close to the end of this year, Q4 2021 going into Q1 2022 paired along with a spike in the price of Bitcoin and the rest of the crypto market.

History doesn't repeat itself, but it often rhymes.
