Our life can be pretty chaotic with four kiddies but creating calm spaces in our home like this make me feel grounded and peaceful.
Beyond grateful to James Lane Design for some new additions to my favourite room. I can always rely on them for on trend yet affordable homewares and decor.

Life update: today was our first Sunday back IN THE ROOM- at CHURCH after 4 months of lock down! And what a reminder it was that nothing beats gathering together.
It's a good feeling when you get to the end of a full Sunday, feeling spent and happy.
Looking forward to a restful Monday (our day off) Also still crushing on my bedroom... so this is basically just an excuse to post a pic of my favourite room with my favourite pendant also you know it was a good day when you fail to take any photos coz your too busy catching up! 🙃😆

Lounge Room make-over full steam ahead🚂
I cannot tell you how long I have waited for this!
Our lounge room has always been a clutter so number one on my list was to find an entertainment unit that hid all the tech bits and created a calmer space🕊.

Day to day motherhood is like an ocean, with its tides. It's ebbs and flows. It's fierce and stunning.
In any given moment I can feel something different.
Delight, joy, OVERWHELM, frustration, hopelessness, relief, peace ... list goes on.
The past few weeks have been overwhelming, and when I stop and reflect, I'm reminded how important it is to keep the LIGHT house in my sights while I'm navigating the tides of a growing family and motherhood. Especially during this time in history.

Summer is coming and I'm dreaming of one of the things we LOVE to do- and that is entertaining!!
I have a check list of things we need to get our home ready-
Windows need to be cleaned
Pillows for around our fire pit space
A nice round rattan tray
& Some pretty white beach umbrellas 😍
Are you a list maker and planner or do you tend to just get things for your home when you feel inspired?

So today was the big day in NSW- kids back at school 🥳🥳
We enjoyed a quieter day (literally🤣). We are still yet to really rejoin the "out side world". I still find myself feeling a bit edgy when I'm around large groups of people- who would have thought as I would classify myself as an extrovert. But it is entirely reasonable that it would take time to adjust to life after 106 days of lock down.
So we will are one day and trust God with all the details as we always do 🥰

First sip of a coffee IN a cafe after over 106 days of lock down 🤍
I ain't gonna lie- it felt GOOOOOOD☕️
Also being inside the cafe lasted all of 5 sips because- four kids 😵💫
Those 5 sips were BLISSFUL hehe
I finished the rest of the cuppa outside🤣

Lucky she's cute... coz I haven't slept in over a week😴😅
This week she learnt to crawl, went from a stage 7 clinger to a hands down 10.
8/9 month developmental leap got me GOOD.
This too shall pass but right now I'm a mombie fueled by coffee 🧟♀️☕️
