Caernarfon Magistrates' Court has heard how a former soldier used his son's baseball bat to smash the windows of a police car while officers inside the vehicle "feared for their safety".
On 28th March, 33-year-old Mark Goodier appeared before magistrates charged with criminal damage, possession of an offensive weapon and two counts of assaulting an emergency worker.
The court heard how on 10th March, North Wales Police responded to a 999 call made from Goodier's address reporting a "domestic incident" at the property.

PH 'Harriet' had served with Merseyside Police (Mounted Branch) for 16 years before she passed away yesterday (16th March) following a short illness.

A mum has taken to Twitter to thank the Metropolitan Police officers who took five minutes out of their busy shift to have a 'Nerf war' with her son.
In a tweet, shared 20 seconds of footage of the encounter and said:
' or , you promoted a very positive role model for my son today.
'Playing a in flats is no doubt a nuisance to some, but your officers spending 5 mins playing with them has left them with a great experience.
'Well done 👏 '
Responding to the tweet, one social media user said:
'years ago, when my son was about eight, we had a good snowfall; I lived two doors from the police station.
'We were out back and heard some PCs outside, so we chuckled a snowball, to our surprise, they retaliated and so began a full on snowball fight. My son loved it.'
Another added:
'Believe me, little positive encounters like this are replicated throughout The MPS 24/7.
'Of course, rarely publicised but it won't stop us enjoying seizing these moments whenever we get the chance.'

Footage has been shared on Twitter of the moment when two youths assaulted a PCSO on Bridge Road in Wembley. The incident happened yesterday (18th October). The PCSO was not seriously injured, and two males have been arrested.

Two suspects were held on suspicion of two catalytic converter thefts after a Tactical Vehicle Intercept Unit from Greater Manchester Police pursued this car on suspected cloned plates in Bury yesterday. West Midlands Police have released some dashcam footage of a high-speed pursuit that resulted in the driver of the fleeing vehicle crashing his car and attempting to run on foot. The pursuit happened in March 2021 in Northfield. During the pursuit, a West Midlands Ambulance Service crew were forced to give way to the fleeing vehicle.
