December 21, 2020 | 7:58pm
A father, his wife and two children were found dead inside their Kentucky home Sunday morning just hours after the dad vented on Facebook that his spouse betrayed him.
Kyle Milliken was among those found dead after a shooting at his family’s Mayfield home overnight Sunday, WPSD-TV reported.
Milliken’s wife, Ashley, and their two sons, 13-year-old Kyle and Kycohn, 8, were also discovered dead.
Kentucky State Police said Sunday they were investigating the shooting, adding an autopsy on the victims was scheduled for Monday.
Hours before the family was found dead, Milliken shared his apparent domestic troubles with his wife on Facebook.
“My kids are my everything, a women [sic] can come and go. If she is not happy You can’t make her happy!” he wrote.

“A lot of the time, she was going to do it anyway, but when u pick someone up and carry them for years and she still betray you, what do you do?”

The family’s pastor, Chad Lamb, told WPSD-TV he was in shock over the violence.
“It’s just heartbreaking for the community. It’s a well-known family — well-respected family on both sides of their families that they come from. Our community is just grieving right now,” Lamb said.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ala. — A father and son fatally shot each other Saturday after getting into a fight when the man’s son told the father he killed his dog, investigators said.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office said Nicholas Coker began shooting at four of the family’s dogs around 6 p.m. when they started to play aggressively with his girlfriend’s child, WALA reported. Coker killed two of the dogs —one was his and the other was his father’s.

“His brother said, ‘Dad is going to be upset that you killed his dog,’ and Nicholas allegedly pointed the shotgun at his brother and using choice language, more or less told him to get off his property or he would kill him,” Blake Richardson, chief investigator, told WALA.
Kelvin James Coker, 60, arrived home moments later.
Nicholas Coker, 32, pointed the shotgun at his father. Kelvin Coker, who was seated in his vehicle, grabbed his handgun and fired a shot, striking his son in the torso, investigators said. Nicholas fired back, hitting his father in the neck, killing him. Nicholas died shortly later.
“It’s unfortunate that they would not value human life... any more than that,” Richardson said.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office said the family has a troubled past. They have responded to numerous incidents over the years at the Coker property, including one last week.
In 2012, Kelvin Coker was charged with first-degree assault after shooting his other son three times in the arm, WALA reported

The US Justice Department sued Walmart over its role in the opioid crisis on Tuesday, alleging the giant retailer wrongly filled prescriptions and worsened a public health disaster.
The suit accuses Walmart of irresponsible handling of orders, filling thousands of "invalid" prescriptions.
Authorities could seek up to billions of dollars in penalties, in the litigation that followed a multi-year investigation, the Justice Department said in a press release.

"As one of the largest pharmacy chains and wholesale drug distributors in the country, Walmart had the responsibility and the means to help prevent the diversion of prescription opioids," said Jeffrey Bossert Clark, acting head of DOJ's civil division.
"Instead, for years, it did the opposite -- filling thousands of invalid prescriptions at its pharmacies and failing to report suspicious orders of opioids and other drugs placed by those pharmacies."
Walmart did not immediately respond to a request for comment, but the company, the world's biggest retailer, filed its own lawsuit against the Justice Department in October that argued that the US crackdown put it in a no-win position.
Pharmacists "must make a difficult decision" of either accepting a doctor's "medical judgment and fill the opioid prescription, or second-guess the doctor's judgment and refuse to fill it," Walmart said in its suit.

"Either decision puts the pharmacist and pharmacy at great risk," the company argued.
It said it faces potential federal action if prosecutors say an order was wrongly filled, or the chance of having a pharmacist license "stripped for the unauthorized practice of medicine, not to mention the potential harm to patients in need of their medicine."

BALTIMORE (WBFF) - As of Monday morning, at 8 a.m. Baltimore police had reported 324 homicides.
By 2 p.m. the number of murders had jumped to 325, and by 7 p.m. at least two more people had been killed in Baltimore City.
As Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott denounced the violence, at least one resident questioned the Mayor’s focus.
City resident Kinji Scott said, “It’s the mayor’s job to ensure, beyond anything else, that the City is safe. Some would say our mayor is new, yes, he may be new in terms of the mayor’s office, but he is not new to public safety.”
Two women were among the homicide victims.
According to Mayor Scott,

We know those victims were in Baltimore City trying to illegally sell a gun for some reason or another.

Meanwhile Police Commissioner Michael Harrison detailed the relationship between other victims and their perpetrators.
Harrison said,
"We have information that some of the surviving victims themselves, they were attempting to purchase drugs and the drug deal went bad and turned violent.

Frustrated over the violence, Kinji Scott said,

We need a new police commissioner. Harrison needs to go and the mayor needs to accept that fact.” He said, “We have a police commissioner who has failed to do his job.
