Being involved in the community has been inspiring since the very beginning. Watching Derrick May mixing, cutting, EQ'ing and affectively turning my favourite tracks inside out at those early nights in forever changed my perspective on music and what a DJ/performer could strive to be. Those early days on the dance floor, listening, experiencing paved the way to this announcement!

Today after years of dreaming and many modifications to existing classic Xone (official) 62 & 92 mixer with my Dad (Michael Hawtin) and Andy Rigby-Jones it's time to push the envelope once again, this time with something completely new.

Balancing uncompromising audio quality, intuitive functionality, designed with the expertise of XONE legend Andy Rigby-Jones and my years of performance experience, I'm extremely excited to announce the launch of our first PLAYdifferently instrument, the analog performance mixer.

Thank you to all those who've inspired my sustained energy and direction over the years, to all the artists of our community that tested our early and gave honest and critical feedback, to my Dad for instilling an intertwined passion of music and technology since I was a kid, my Mum for putting up with our noise, Matthew for his artistic introductions, Laura for her unwavering support, Ben, Helen, Ali, Mark, Vicki, Franzie and my entire Extend Artists & MINUS team, ALLEN & HEATH (official), DiGiCo, CINEBUREAU Haw-lin and Alex de Brabant for the beautiful images and all my fans and those who believe in our sound!
