Evolution- Change- Growth is constant!
And in true sense it is.
Let’s go back to some history! Do you remember Gandhiji’s “Three Wise Monkeys” message?
The allegory of the three monkeys he used was “Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil”. It portrayed the situation then- that for India to be independent and successful one has to peacefully fight, and not tolerate any kind of evil, oppression, or injustice.
Today, at this point when the world is fighting a battle against a virus, the human race has evolved on the same lines of the ‘Three wise monkeys’ philosophy.
No work is on a pause mode. Work from home has become the new normal- be it for teachers, working professionals, students, retailers, etc. The world has adopted the new digital.
Video calls which were once upon a time luxury are easily accessible now and have been a part of people’s day to day lives during this pandemic.
Have you noticed it? There is a similar metaphor in the video calls options also- “Bura mat suno, Bura mat dekho, bura mat bolo”.
Confused?
Bura mat suno is the speaker button off, Bura mat dekho is the video button off and Bura mat bolo is the mute button.
Well, the human race has come a long way in the journey of evolution.
This is maybe one example I could think of.
We are clearly in the middle of an evolution and not a revolution.
To quote Graham Greene, a novelist- “God created several possibilities in case some of his prototypes failed - that is the meaning of evolution.”
Thoughts?
