This week on TRACK! We are delighted to be joined by marathon runner and newly announced England athlete for the upcoming Commonwealth Games in Birmingham in July; George Schwiening George ran her marathon PB of almost 4 minutes clocking a 2.31.25 in Manchester during which she secured third place and both the European and Commonwealth Games qualifying time. George runs for Cambridge Runners, and has a background in duathlon in which she has won a World Junior Championship (2013), European U23 Championship (2014) and was the bronze medalist at senior level in 2018, at the World Championship in Fyn, Denmark. George is, for now, focused on marathon running and will hit the streets of Birmingham in an England vest in July so we are delighted that she has agreed to chat to us here at TRACK!
