Why does my makeup look so skin-like?!

Here I am in my 30’s wearing less makeup than I ever have and finally feeling confident in my skin.

What changed?

I started drinking water. A lot of it.

I started getting enough sleep. I went from 4-5 hours a night to 7-8.

I switched to cream makeup with simple ingredients that don’t irritate my skin.

I stopped using makeup wipes to “wash” my face at night and got consistent with skincare.

If your in a season where you’re not loving the skin you’re in, let’s change that! 🫶🏼

The strange thing about packing a diaper bag or mom bag is, you reach a sweet spot right before potty training where you can downsize. You can keep the changes of clothes in the car and skate by with a diaper, wipes and a snack or two.

Enter potty training and summer vacation and all of a sudden you’re packing for multiple kids and accidents again. As with anything in life, it’s always variable.

Needless to say this bag from has been a go to this summer. From its sporty vibe and chunky zippers to the most comfortable backpack straps on the planet, it is a winner for the mama who needs alllll the things. And if you’re a lighter packer than I am they make it in two other sizes!

Meet Devereaux 💕

When Curran asked me to marry him I said, “It depends will you let me get a puppy?” 🤭

Just about 12 years later when talking about our anniversary I said I want a puppy. 🐶

All our animals are getting older and so are my kids. I want them to remember their childhood and getting to pick a puppy and then see them take ownership of it and care for it.

No regrets. We love you Devereaux and can’t want to add you to life’s adventures.

I hate this bike. This bike has stared at me for 2 years telling me this journey would be hard. And I avoided it.

I’ve never been good at exercise. I couldn’t run as far as the other kids…. I couldn’t reach my toes or get to the top of the rope in gym.

Fast forward my body has done so much for me. It’s given me 3 babies. It’s nourished them and supported them. And through all my body has given me I felt defeated by it. Why didn’t I bounce back? Why is it harder for me?

It’s still hard. I don’t look forward to it. But I’m doing it. With the help of I’m slowly building healthy habits and for the first time I’m seeing my body work for me.

I’m getting stronger. I’m sleeping better. I’m feeling happier. So even though it’s hard, I’m gonna keep going.

2 years I let this bike sit here taunting me. And time didn’t wait for me, the time still passed.
