Hey there, Movie Surfers! Summer may be winding down, but it’s only just begun for the stars of Teen Beach Movie. When Brady and Mack get sucked into a 1960’s movie musical, they’ll have to sing and dance their way back to the real world if there’s any hope of saving their relationship. This DCOM was new to both of us, and we had a great time covering it, even if it left us with some troublesome tunes stuck in our heads. Thank you for making July our best month EVER! "Go Figure" tells the story of aspiring Olymic figure skater, Katelin Kingsford. As crazy as it sounds, Katelin finds herself forced to join a girls' hockey team in order to train with a world-renowned (Russian) figure skating coach. Along the way, Katelin learns the importance of friendship, hard work, and the presence of a reliable toe pick. But we have decided to grandfather it in based upon the fact that Hannah Montana is unquestionably part of the Disney Channel Cinematic Universe. Honestly, if we have to give you a plot summary of this film, you’ve probably stumbled upon the wrong podcast. But, as far as Tennessee culture goes, this movie has EVERYTHING: Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus, Taylor Swift, and multiple cameos from Rascal Flatts.
