From Letter 001.
The IPCC (the United Nation's International Panel on Climate Change) published it's sixth assessment report. The report addresses the most up-to-date physical understanding of the climate system and climate change, bringing together the latest advances in climate science, and combining multiple lines of evidence from paleoclimate, observations, process understanding, and global and regional climate simulations. With contributions from more than 200 scientists from 66 countries, the IPCC highlights with more certainty than ever before that humans' greenhouse gas emissions are to blame. Extreme weather is here to stay as a constant reminder that action needs to happen now. That action needs to be driven by governments and industry, and supported by us, the people.
