Cheyne and I have done it. We made it to 100 episodes!! Well actually 100 episodes were done about 5 episodes ago if you take into account the episodes that either I accidentally deleted or Cheyne and I just didn't like. Regardless, staying true to the course and chipping away an episode at a time Cheyne and I have now made it to 100 episodes. In this episode Cheyne and I have an Olympic update on one of the most endearing post win interviews by Tamyra Mensah-Stock. Tamyra's interview had all the good feels, from the sense of accomplishment to patriotism and all the sincerity possible. Most of what was said was about putting in the hard work no matter what. Cheyne and I then discuss the athlete's mindset and the difference between those that thank God and those that don't. Is there a difference in work ethic and outcome? In Current Events, it turns out that kids that workout tend to have an expanded vocabulary. It's science.  Don't forget to like and subscribe to the More Than Meatheads YouTube channel to see me get super muddy and dirty at the Rugged Maniac race in Pennsylvania.

New Episode Alert!
"Put a Beau on it (Epi 71)"
Get ready for a really feel good story. Cheyne and Luis talk to Beau Whitman, you don't know who Beau Whitman is? You will by the end of this episode. Beau grew up in a competitive and disciplined household that would teach him and instill the skill set that would ultimately help him save his life. In 2019 Beau would be diagnosed with a rare cancer and of course it's rare because your normal run of the mill cancer is not enough for Beau to confront. Beau is not only in remission after going to war on a cellular level but is now teaching others about their inner and untapped strength. "You have to knock cancer of it's pedestal" is Beau's mentality and "Just be vulnerable with yourself" are just two awesome nuggets that Beau drops during this episode. Listen to this episode and pass it on to anyone that you think needs to hear this (spoiler alert: it's everyone)

The only way to make better decisions is to process and learn from what your body is telling you. ⁣

You need to let go of everything you think you know or understand about how your body moves…all of the sets, the reps, exercises, and preconceived biases.⁣

Seek to feel…⁣
Ask questions about what you feel…⁣
Seek to understand…⁣
𝙒𝙃𝙔 do you feel a certain way during different movements?⁣

Solve your own problems. 𝙀𝙓𝙋𝙇𝙊𝙍𝙀. ⁣
If you can’t figure it out on your own, ask for help…and 𝙇𝙀𝘼𝙍𝙉 from that experience. ⁣

Shrugs are a fun exercise and can help with your posture and neck stability. It also helps when someone asks a question and you don't know the answer. Because if you don't know, don't know with authority.
