Harrison & Dakota at Vesperia Films had the incredible opportunity to pitch one of our feature films at the Canva Pitch Deck Show & Tell during the Proof Film Fest by American Cinematheque.

"We are so happy to have had the chance to showcase our passion and creativity. It's a true honor to not only be part of such a fantastic event that celebrates the art of filmmaking, but also selected for this chance to present to an audience of 70+, an industry panel, and get immediate feedback!"

Our journey doesn't stop here. Our goal at Vesperia is to make characters that matter come to life, from the page and onto screen in a very cool, visual way. It's what filmmaking is all about for us.

Our first stop on Vesperia's latest festival run with Vance - the troubled vampire.

This time we were honored at the local horror film festival - Vancouver Horror Show - VHS. Vance was the official selection, and is nominated for the Best Writing and Best Ensemble Cast!

The screening event was a blast and we would like to send our sincere thanks to festival directors David Taylor and Meghan Hemingway for hosting us this year, as well as the entire VHS staff for creating such an amazing atmosphere for creatives to meet and tune in to each other's work. All of that wouldn't feel the same if it wasn't for all of our friends and fans who came to support us! Please accept our deepest gratitude. See you on the next one!

Los Angeles friends mark your calendars! Come watch our short proof of concept film CAFE RACER playing at the PROOF Film Festival (Independence, block #3) by American Cinematheque.

When? Saturday, October 20th at the Culver City Theater.
Screening begins at 10AM!

We promise this film Cafe Racer will blow your socks off! It's visually stunning, and needs to be seen on the big screen. Fun fact, the team ambitiously choreographed and filmed real motorcycle stunts and race sequences for this short film!!!

Cafe Racer is a half-English, half-Japanese language, 13 minute action drama film that follows a young woman, Rini (played by Aya Furukawa), who is grieving the death of her father. Rini wishes to stay connected to him by pushing the limits of street racing, despite her mother begging her to quit.
