My weight loss journey started with yoga ✨🪴

When I was at my heaviest weight I went to a yoga class. I couldn’t even touch my toes and I felt so embarrassed and ashamed.

I took that shame and turned it into fuel for my motivation. I was determined to keep reaching for my toes until I could eventually accomplish it.

I felt so unbelievably proud of myself, that I wanted to make more yoga goals and complete them. Soon enough, I was practicing yoga every single night.

I looked forward to stretching every night before bed. It felt so good on my body, and really slowed my mind down. Yoga became part of my daily routine, and I gained the confidence to build a new daily routine: going to the gym.

The more flexible I got from yoga, the easier exercising was for me. Not to mention, practicing yoga gave me the confidence to show up every day and connect with my body.

Now, I’m a certified trauma informed yoga instructor and weight loss coach. I would’ve never in a MILLION YEARS predicted that I would be able to share my story and help heal millions of people. Thank you to everyone who has supported me along my journey these past few years, it’s an honor 🤍

THE 3 PARTS OF WEIGHT LOSS

spiritual 🧿🪬 - we can connect to our higher selves through nature, and through self nurturing to help us align with our mental + physical goals

mental 🧠 - this is the biggest factor when it comes to losing weight. Your mentality is what motivates you and pushes you to work towards your goals. doing mental work like meditation, journaling, and therapy can help us find appreciation for our body and rewire our brain to positive thinking this will help negative thinking and negative thoughts around our self image & body

physical 🏃🏻‍♀️- doing the physical work such as exercising and eating healthier are crucial when it comes to weight loss. Working on our mindset i s what motivates us to make those healthier choices every day. ever notice if you’re in a crappy mood you tend to eat crappy food? or vise versa, if you eat like 💩 all day you feel tired, sluggish, groggy, bloated and like 💩

none of these things can exist without the other. Not only do you need to be mindful about what you’re eating and how you’re moving your body, but you also need to work on your mindset as well!
