Finally sitting at home catching up on MotoGP! So hard to pick pictures from such a journey. Definitely not all the best photos, but just a glimpse of the last leg of my 55 day, 11k mile trip across America. From Big Sur, I worked my way down the 101 to Santa Barbara where I surfed and was a hillbilly in the Los Padres NF, saw Joshua Tree, spent a night in a penthouse room in Vegas for $100, hiked Angel’s landing at Zion, saw Bryce Canyon, spent Halloween in Scottsdale, rode some off-road in Sedona and drove 1500 miles down I-40(Route 66) Flagstaff to Memphis, before making the final stretch home on Friday!

I am so terrible at the social media thing, but if I have not been busy, I’ve been driving or out of service! Almost 9,000 miles so far as I sit in Scottsdale in the sunshine! Little slice of the PNW and NorCal for ya!
Since Glacier, I have been to the Cascades, Seattle, Mt Hood, Crater Lake, Grants Pass, Trinidad, Redding, Santa Cruz, Big Sur and the list goes on!

Anything helps to keep this dream alive! Money will never replace all the memories I lost on my hard drives or the hours of hard work and miles on the road that went into the lost podcast episodes, but it will make it so I can record new ones and keep my dream going!

My “good” luck strikes again! As of now, there is no more Coup D’ Thrill! Some POS smashed my window while eating dinner last night in Portland. Grabbed some cash from the glove box and stole my podcasting backpack with my laptop and all my gear and back up drives! I lost 11 different podcasts that I drove 5,000 miles to produce. I have been at the find my Mac location for almost 4 hours this morning. Portland PD just finally showed up to help in any way! I now have no means of insurance recourse, no equipment, no content or computer and many of my fondest memories are also gone! I am crushed to say the least!

I refuse to give up and will re-record the lost episodes remotely l, but for now will be a weekly road journal starting Thursday with my first week of the trip in Texas!

Been a while since I’ve posted. Been too busy and remote in the thrill mobile! In the past four weeks, I have traveled 5500 van miles and 700 moto(mainly off-road) miles from Atlanta to Lafayette, to Austin, to the Ozarks to Colorado Springs to Crested Butte to the San Juan’s up the Black Canyon to Glenwood Springs to Vail to Steamboat to Jackson, picked up and spent 8 amazing days in Yellowstone and Glacier NP! I also recorded 8 amazing podcasts and saw more old friends than I can count! In route to Portland after a day in Seattle! Many more pics and vids to come. Impossible to choose!
