Angela Chibalonza was born on 26th November, 1976 in Congo. After completing her secondary school education in 1996, she came to Kenya in what she described as a call of God and also to pursue her music career. She sang in Swahili, Lingala and sometimes French.
Her songs, such as "Mpenzi wa Yesu" and "Ninguvike Mauti," often focused on themes of faith, worship, and devotion. She gained significant popularity in East Africa before her untimely death in 2008.

Did President Salva Kiir sack the wrong person believed to be the Ibba County Commissioner, or was it a news anchor’s slip of the tongue?
South Sudan was abuzz on Wednesday with numerous republican decrees read on the state-run broadcaster, SSBC.
Among the decrees, President Salva Kiir removed and appointed new officials to the government of Western Equatoria State.
According to the South Sudan Broadcasting Corporation (SSBC), President Salva Kiir removed "Phillip Ayoub Gaza" as Commissioner of Ibba County and replaced him with Wilson Tetela.
WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT PHILLIP AYOUB GAZA
Phillip Ayoub Gaza is a retired General who hails from Ezo County in Western Equatoria State. He has never been the Commissioner of Ibba County.
However, Charles Elisama Babua, who is said to have been removed by President Salva Kiir, has been the Commissioner of Ibba County since April 2021 until Wednesday, 7th August 2024, under the South Sudan Opposition Alliance (SSOA).
