Hey guys....quick announcement... as some of you may have noticed that the page for Kicker Custom Lures is M.I.A. Well after speaking with Steve Pixley, owner/operator of Kicker, it turns out his personal and business pages were hacked and are now gone. It really sucks when small businesses in our community get affected like this, especially to a well respected guy like Steve.

I've offered to assist Steve with orders during this time as he rebuilds his pages. Have you ever been on your way back to the launch and said, "You know... I should probably throw into that...."? We'll that happened to me today! Out with the man, Mitch LeCoupe ,today and the urge to send a frog into the duck w**d was too good to pass by. This 18.5" Largie absolutely murdered the 6th Sense Fishing Vega frog! Never pass up a juicy spot if your brain is screaming at you to cast in! The pay offs can be huge!

Sometimes when that bite is tough, a large profile moving bait can be the ticket to a great reaction bite! This big girl couldn't resist the 6th Sense Fishing Speedwake in Bone Reactor. A great mix of movement, vibration, and sound, the Speedwake gets the job done. Burn it, or slow roll it over available cover to draw the bigguns up for an easy meal!

A great day was had at the 1Door4Care 4th annual benefit fishing tournament for Cheo! So much support for such a great cause! My son was a recipient of Cheo's care just after he was born, and this event held a special importance for me. Now that the tourney is over, doesn't mean the support has to be! Always consider helping a great organization, such as Cheo, any time of the year! Many thanks to all the organizers, volunteers, and supporters that made this event such a great success! Well, it's finally upon us!!! Happy Bass Opener to all!

Please be safe out there, everyone. As we all know, there were some unfortunate incidents last year which cost several kayakers their lives... Despite who was at fault, we can take steps to ensure we don't become one of the statistics...

1. Have a first aid kit in your boat at all times.
2. Ensure you are visible on the water! Brightly colored flag up!!!
3. Make sure your gear is properly packed and ensure safety and rescue equipment is accounted for and accessible. If you're unsure of what items are required to be in your boat, please check the marine safety guidelines for Ontario.
4. Most important...WEAR YOUR PFD AT ALL TIMES!!!!

Following the rules, and ensuring your safety can be the difference between coming home from a great trip vs. a family.member getting an unfortunate phone call.

Be safe....AND HAVE FUN!!!! TIGHT LINES!!!
