There is an absence of gun control policies, but a plethora of those policing gender expression, books, and so much more.

What can you do?

- We can put pressure directly on and urge them to rethink their long awaited approval.
- Continue to make environmentally-friendly lifestyle changes
- Put pressure on Congress to implement more direct action on climate change

DRAG IS ART, NOT A CRIME!

Bills, upon bills, upon bills banning drag in public are popping up in state legislatures across the U.S. These bans are being debated, voted on, and even implemented as of this week.

All of this because of the apparent “harm of children” who attend or even catch a glimpse of a show… neither of which is hardly believable.

Drag is inherently freedom of expression. No government entity should be allowed to interfere with this, especially with no evidence that it does any harm.

What does actual harm? Banning an art form that raises hundreds and thousands of dollars for local charities through the exhibition of a show, and by acting as if these people and these lives do not exist.

These excuses by elected officials to continue to predatorily discriminate against LGBTQ+ people and their existence is incredibly disturbing.

Call your state reps. Spread the word. Speak up. 💋💅

After a very long and agonizing weekend, I think it’s safe to say that a great majority of Americans are angry and scared, and will continue to be for some time.

As much as I truly saw this coming, to see it truly happen has had my brain reeling since Friday. It’s all I’ve been able to focus on and think about.

I wanted to post this to serve as a reminder that while we have quite the battle ahead of us, PLEASE take care of yourself. The mental hoops are big and wide at this time, and while fighting, remember to take care of yourself, too. Now let’s figure out wtf we’re gonna do!!!! 🗣

Today, June 24th, 2022 at 10:15 am, the Supreme Court ruled to overturn Roe v. Wade. I wish I could say I am surprised at this decision, but it still feels like a gut punch.

Child bearers are going to be stuck in horrific situations. Child bearers are going to die from complications. History will remember this disgusting, extremely calculated ruling.

But we won’t be silent, and we won’t give up. DO NOT f**k with our freedom.

The Lady Justice Brewing Company is Latina-founded, and also a q***r and woman-owned brewery located in Colorado. Their focus is on two things: great beer, and a better world.

I randomly found Lady Justice Brewing over a year or two ago on Instagram and have been following ever since! Though I am extremely far from their residence, I applaud their individuality, creative name-making and their deep contributions to their community. Plus- how badass is it that it’s a women-ran brewery? Going against the grain (no pun intended)!
