THE QUEEN OF SNAKE AT THE TACTICAL OPERATIONS GROUP 1 FOR REFUELLING
A Philippine Air Force AH-IS “Cobra” attack helicopter from the 20th Attack Squadron “Firebirds” of the 15th Strike Wing getting some refuelling at the Tactical Operations Group 1 (TOG 1) on 27 February 2024.
This AH-1S “COBRA” with tail number 1023 was prepositioned to the 24th Infantry “WILDCAT” Battalion of the Philippine Army.
To those who are not in the aviation world:
Fuel trucks are only available in airports and military bases with an airport facility... outfront outpost like the TOG, don’t have one, especially with helipads only. Even major countries still have this type of practice for tactical operation outposts.
For the armaments:
If you’re going to engage a group of individuals wearing slippers and rubber shoes and only armed with an M16 rifle and .45 pistol... a pair of rocket launchers and the 20 mm M197 3-barreled Gatling cannon will be enough to let them rest in peace.
