No one is exempt from neither Trauma nor having Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. And no, you do not have to be military or a veteran to have PTSD. Trauma can be physical and sexual abuse, family and domestic violence, a serious car accident, and or a natural disaster. As a mother with PTSD your battle is everyday, with support (friends and family), self compassion, spiritual direction, therapy, and more you are closer to peace.
