Submission Blast Off
Eight months ago I decided to apply to the Art's Council for 100k, to fund a project that will help close the gap in music production, offering free music production workshops to women, gender non conforming, people from different ethnicities, and people with disabilities.
It has been a lot of long nights, hard work and perseverance. My mate Lizzy Shakespeare, saw the potential in the idea and massively has invested in helping with this project which i couldn't have done such a good job with out here Every who knows me knows i have lots of ideas and not always the stamina to see them through, on top of single parenting, so thanks lizzy you are amazing.
I hope we get this money, but if we don't we will carry on trying. We have built a website, and people have generously already donated 100 pounds to our crowdfunder. We hope that we can pull together and finally get some new great sounds heard by those whose story needs to be.
