What is the best part of your younger self that you miss?

Mine was a time I used to really enjoy life. Work hard and live for myself. I may be 32 but I’m at a point now where I am probably my most lost, yet to find my identity. Maybe it’s a mixture of past traumas or relationships or stressful jobs or even Covid. But I’m lost. No one is perfect, I certainly don’t claim to be and I know sometimes I am judged for the choices I make but that’s human nature. Here’s to a fresh new month trying to rebuild what was once there 🤍🖤🤍

Life’s a funny one right?!

We all want to “ride the train” the right way, make the most of every day life, make money, build a family etc. But we all take different paths towards these things.

I will never sit here and say I’m perfect. I’m far from it and I’ve made mistakes some more recent then others that I will live with and grow from. We are all human and want to get things right but the reality is it doesn’t always happen.

So today I’m teaching myself to learn from my mistakes & do better but also remember to not be ashamed of the risks I have taken in my career. I am proud of what I have done and achieved so far and won’t be shamed for it, hoping I can continue to grow this year.

Trauma truth

That’s what my current therapist keeps calling it. Trauma truth. A way to reveal anything we have concealed or somehow let simmer at the surface.

This week was a large awakening. To a point I still need to figure out what is true and what isn’t. I don’t know where I go from here or how I ask for support or even if I deserve it.

No one is perfect and man it doesn’t matter what you go through in life it doesn’t condone bad behaviour. However, what I am trying to understand is forgiveness and trauma go hand in hand. And somehow I need to forgive myself. I just don’t know how.

This is my truth for now. But remember guys bad days are bad days please don’t judge others if they struggle to get out of bed in the morning or if they struggle to eat more then a meal a day. Stop judging. Start asking. Why?
