Good morning Brothers and Sisters!
It starts in your heart.
Start your day with praise on your heart!
The first song I heard this morning has set the mood of my heart for this day GOD has placed before me.
“Raise a Hallelujah!”
A personal favorite.
No matter what my day will be like later, I know I can raise a Hallelujah from the depths of my heart and as those words pass my lips everything begins to change.
Psalms 19:14 May the words of my mouth
and the meditation of my heart
be pleasing to YOU,
O LORD, my ROCK and my REDEEMER.
When our hearts are right with GOD, our actions will be right as well.
Just about the only thing we are truly in control of is our attitude. And our attitude controls our reactions to elements outside of our lives.
I can be grumpy. I can speak curses.
I can be angry.
I can be dishonest or even downright mean.
Or
I can choose to handle my reactions to forces outside of my control by remaining in HIS Peace.
From the abundance in my heart my mouth will speak.
I must be mindful of what I allow in my heart.
Proverbs 4:23 Guard your heart above all else,
for it determines the course of your life.
I can have peace beyond the circumstances, I can operate in self-control, I can be joyful, I can love.
I am a child of GOD!
Psalms 39: I said to myself, “I will watch what I do
and not sin in what I say.
I will hold my tongue
when the ungodly are around me.”
We may not understand the importance of our words or the power in our tongue but GOD’s WORD does tell us clearly.
Proverbs 18:21 The tongue can bring death or life;
those who love to talk will reap the consequences.
Proverbs 21:23 Watch your tongue and keep your mouth shut,
and you will stay out of trouble.
JESUS even tells us…
Matthew 12:37 “The words you say will either acquit you or condemn you.”
GOD showed us the power our words can have by speaking everything in to existence.
By HIS WORD all things were created.
John 1:4
When we control our reactions then we take control over our tongue and it can no longer lead us astray, out of the Will of the FATHER.
Psalms 40:3 HE has given me a new song to sing,
a hymn of praise to our GOD.
Many will see what HE has done and be amazed.
They will put their trust in the LORD.
How many will come to find the LORD through your actions rather than your words?
Be the Light in the darkness.
Raise a HALLELUJAH!
JESUS is my Door in ‘24!
JESUS Loves you and so do I!
