Enjoyed catching this 9.26lb one today. Was windy and cold but all 88 boats were able to fish on Santee Cooper. Once again Santee is producing some big fish. Thankful for my Huk Gear FIN PERFORMANCE FLEECE HOODIE to keep me warm in that cold wind. That’s my second big fish award in 3 weeks!
Man that Santee Cooper was rough today, had 4ft plus waves 🤦🏻♂️ all the fish I had were gone from the storm last night, only was able to scrap up 4 fish for 8-8, but still sitting middle of the pack.Lost 2 fish today that would’ve got me in the top 50, day 2 has been canceled so we will be back at it Saturday! Gonna need a mega sack Saturday!
Going out boat # 199 out of 214 tomorrow in the Major League Fishing Toyota series at Santee Cooper, due in at 5 pm for weigh in. Haven’t practiced but a few hours Monday and spent 2 hours out this afternoon but luckily shook off a limit this afternoon. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and the fish will stay! Gonna be windy and rainy over the next 3 days, glad I got my Huk Gear to keep me dry! Need 5 bigs in the livewell tomorrow!
Major League Fishing Toyota series at Santee this week! We have some bad weather coming, doubt it will be a 3 day tournament. But I’m gonna grind it out and hopefully fill the livewell with some big ones!
