The April edition of the Network is about ready to roll out!

Our April edition will feature details about the new Japanese steakhouse at the former Hap's West building that will be opening later this month! We traveled to one of the owners' other restaurants (New Yamato in Huntington) to sample and photograph their food (the same menu will be used at the Logansport restaurant).

AND, we take a look inside the new second floor shops above Bonus Pints (dubbed "Bonus Level") that will also be opening this spring!

Plus a news update on the MSRP downtown facade program and the new Squeal on the Eel festival that will take place at Riverside Park on June 18 featuring a judged BBQ competition and four bands (Scarecrowe, The Grace Scott Band, The Flying Toasters and headliners LOCASH)!

Lot's of great things happening in Logansport! Stay up to date with us!

As always, find these stories, archives and the flipbook version of each edition on our website (subscription and ad free)!

Mark Racop's Batmobile led the procession of cars down the newly opened Melbourne Avenue, with a cardboard cutout of Paul Ulerick riding in the passenger seat. Ulerick's Amelio's on the River was among the businesses most impacted by the long closure of Melbourne Avenue. He passed away on Nov. 8 from injuries sustained in an Oct. 8 house explosion.

The massive Melbourne Avenue stormwater project that has disrupted traffic and commerce in the area since ground was broken in February 2019 is now complete. The project, with an estimated cost of $31 million, was initially expected to take about two years to complete. LMU had planned a ribbon-cutti...

THIS JUST IN (from LMU):

The grand reopening celebration of Melbourne Avenue that was scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed “until next month,” citing “continued final stages needing to be completed by the contractors.”

10/11/2021

Melbourne Avenue will reopen to traffic on Nov. 17!

According to a press release from Logansport Municipal Utilities, a grand re-opening celebration and ribbon cutting will be held on Wed., Nov. 17 at 11 a.m. behind the Depot at Fourth and Melbourne.

The celebration will mark the end of the extensive stormwater and wastewater project that has taken more than two years to complete.
