I've been trying to win at (pre-repave) Atlanta Motor Speedway on iRacing since I joined the service in May 2020, and I finally got a WIN this evening in the Xfinity Series. I started P3, led the final 20 laps of the 95 lap race and held off the field on two green-white-checkered finishes. I didn't stream it because I haven't had my voice the past few days, but here's the final GWC finish to secure the win.
NASCAR's 1987 cars are tough, especially on bumpy road courses
I'm getting the 1987 Monte Carlo dialed in for tomorrow night! It drives a little different than the current car.
I went from 11th to 5th in this green white checkered finish at Kansas tonight. Fresh tires made a huge difference as we were four wide coming to the checkered.
I set a new personal best in the MX-5 at a track whose name I honestly can not remember.
What you absolutely do not want in your mirror is me on the last lap of the Charlotte Roval during Midnight Miatas.
W.
The first win took three months and the second win took two more starts. I held on for another iRacing NASCAR Class A win on a late restart.
Winning is FUN!!
This is the finish of a race I did earlier in the evening. Daytona hates me. I almost had it. 😂
I finished 4th out of 37 cars in the NASCAR iRacing Series race tonight at Watkins Glen. I fought hard until the end trying to get 3rd.
I took a tire gamble tonight and pitted from 5th on a late race caution, hoping that everyone would pit behind me and I'd be near the front on much fresher tires.
It didn't work out that way, but I managed to squeak a top 10 on the final restart tonight at Richmond.
No love from lapped traffic tonight 🤣
Solid P3 to end the week, though. On to Michigan. The W is coming. 💪
Hayden McDaniel since you asked 🤣
I've found some decent pace in practice at Indy for this week's races. Be sure to follow along at twitch.tv/crjones9
I came as close as I've ever come to winning in the NASCAR iRacing Series tonight. I had a lot of fun streaming and enjoyed a good, clean race at Pocono.
(Sorry the mic audio is the only one working, I hit the mute hotkey by accident sometime during the race and didn't realize it. I could hear everything, ya'll can't)
Nothing to see here, just me completely out of my element in a Mazda MX-5 on a Sunday morning 🤣
I'm working hard to find some speed for tomorrow night's race at New Hampshire in the Great 8.
Tune in tomorrow night at 9:00 on twitch.tv/crjones9
The Great 8 is shifting gears and hopping curbs this week in preparation for tomorrow night's race at Sonoma. Let's get it.
If anything, my reflexes are ready for the iRacing Indy 500 this weekend.
The Monster Mile got me with five to go. I had a 2nd-3rd place finish in the bag. Frustrated is an understatement.
I'm starting to get some consistency on the dirt, which is promising. It's completely different than what I'm used to, but I'm already MUCH better than this week last year.
I spent some time this morning testing for what lies ahead next week. It might be fun.
I'm working hard in practice in preparation for tomorrow night's race at Circuit of the Americas. This place is tricky. I love it!
So you got to dodge 'em and you got to duck 'em
You got to keep that (Silverado) truckin'
Checking in from practice ahead of tomorrow night's 200 mile race at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA.
