Over the weekend Danny and I attended a conference where we learned new perspectives that blessed us so much we needed to share all that we learned straight to you guys. From seeing and hearing the Holy spirit tune in as we discuss the very INTENSE answer to “Not feeling like it”, as well as learning how to be more available to the Holy Spirit everyday resulting in a fully surrendered life to Jesus.

These are words directly quoted from the Bible. Who’s you might ask? Apostle Paul, a man who we respect, look up to, and learn from, yet he said the very things we say to ourselves everyday. Everyone is at war with their sinful nature, and it can be discouraging and disheartening when we lose these battles constantly. And so the question we ask ourselves is: How do I resist it? How do I recognize the flesh in my life? Listen in as we discuss these questions, expose the flesh, and share what we can do to be ready for the fight.

Only to have Jesus respond by saying that they must have the faith and the attitude of a child. In this episode we break down Jesus’ unforeseen response, and learn how to achieve this kind of faith, as well as understanding the importance of it even to the point that Jesus says without this kind of attitude, we will not enter the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus tells us in the bible to be hot or cold, because if we were lukewarm, he would spit us out of his mouth. But what does this mean? Is Jesus telling us to either be for God, or to be against Him? Does Jesus really rather us be against him than in the middle? The verse in revelations where Jesus talks about this is often misinterpreted. Jesus is telling us that lukewarm water is useless! Hot water has a function, like cooking or cleaning. So does cold water, like after a long hard gym session, you want a cold glass of water. But lukewarm water has no function! This episode we discuss what it looks like for someone to be a lukewarm christian, the real dangers of this, and how to remove ourselves from this comfort of the world, and start to be of real use for the Kingdom of God.
