These granite slab earrings were probably the trickiest to make. To create the effect of gestural marks takes quick and confident strokes, yet restraint to not go overboard and make everything a massive blob of gold 🤦🏻♀️. Hesitation will make you erase and start over. Sometimes the accidental strokes look best because your not trying so hard to force anything 🤷🏻♀️. But after everything is finished, it’s worth the effort ✨.
These rustic red waterfall earrings were made by mixing sunshine yellow and cadmium red and has this slight golden shimmering sheen. The red waves are adorned with a textured granite black droplet for a balanced look.
These off-white earrings are so easy to wear. The mutiple vertical lines in them don’t converge and make me think about expansion and growth. Our past or even our past selves can’t hold us back if we keep looking ahead even if we may be facing many hardships and difficulties right now.

I had the most fun making these amber petal earrings. It amazed me that polymer clay can be shaped to resemble the contours of natural forms such as petals or leaves where the light and shadows hit the surfaces realistically to follow suit.
