Everyone has preferences & opinions. Here are some of mine.
Cats > Dogs
🐱 They’re quieter and don’t need you to take them out for the bathroom.
Flavors > Bland
😋 We probably all agree on this one. I believe a form of self-care is with healthy, nourishing foods. Healthy + full of flavor = totally possible.
Collabs > Competition
🫶 Life & business are sweeter & better this way when partnered with the right people.
VIP Day > Retainer
⚡️I love when clients get up in the morning with their wish list and before dinner I’ve done it for them! Sayonara to weeks of back & forth and drawn out projects.
Cilantro > w/o cilantro
🌿 Sriracha peanut sauce (homemade) + fresh cilantro = SO good. My tastebuds are ready for seconds!
Happy Caturday!

There’s more to succeed than money/fame/etc…
Outside of profit, I track my success by:
💚 Quality sleep. Better sleep = better productivity & energy.
💚 Kitty playtime. No shame in my kitty-loving. Daily treat-giving and Pom-Pom tossing brings me joy.
💚 Time away from the computer! It feels so good to play in the kitchen, meet up with a friend, go for a walk, read a book, etc. A change in scenery and the way my brain gets to intake & process information💪
💚 Business can be serious. Life can be serious. Reminding my heart, brain, and face that laughter and smiles are keys to health is 💫
💚 Fresh air! I love my running diffuser, AND one do the ways to ensure I step away from the screen is to get out and get fresh air. So thankful to live in a place that’s not filled with smog & pollution.
And even my friend Lisa @empoweredbyemotions shared with me that she tracks the number of visits she gets from friends & family.
What about you?
➡️ Comment what you track outside of money/fame for success.
Business is made up of a lot of decisions. Some of the best decisions I’ve made in my business include
💫 betting on myself (over & over)
💫 protecting my boundaries (and thus my peace)
💫 being willing to try new things (growing businesses evolve)
I know that I am my business’s best asset and therefore, I must protect and honor myself. Whenever I’ve trusted my gut, I’ve been able to make it work.
Whenever I’ve made decisions based on fear, or thinking someone else had all the answers, things were, well… not ok.
So that’s part of what I’m anchoring to in 2024. Trust myself. Fight for my peace. Have fun. And it’ll all work out.
What about you? What have been some of your best decisions in business?
