Dear Pet Masters,

Last week has been a roller coaster for our team with the incidents that happened with our fully incubated project, My DeFi Pet. Our project had received a lot of deserved attention when many investors had realized the true value of My DeFi Pet. Standing in 2nd place in the Top 10 trending coins in Asia and 2 consecutive weeks in Top 10 trending coin ranking by CoinGecko makes My DeFi Pet standing side by side with the industry’s giants like Bitcoin, Ethereum and many others. And this is just the beginning.

However, with successes come challenges. The attack and exploitation of Chainswap really did numbers to our project. However, we bounce back stronger than ever with the timely decisions from both KardiaChain and My DeFi Pet’s personnel than ever. We are proud to see DPET even reaches a new ATH, X150 from the bottom and X80 from private sales with over 100,000 HODLERS just days after the incident.

The attack of hackers makes us consider more about protecting users with better security measures on our infrastructure and other chains connected to us to create a truly unified blockchain network that is unexploitable. Only by toughen up our defence can we put the users’ benefits as the top priority and achieve more remarkable successes in the long term.

We would love to transparently share with the community the exact details of what happened last week with a post mortem. And once again, we send our utmost appreciation for your trust and support on this journey.

My DeFi Pet brings traditional game experience and DeFi features to NFT collectibles. Players can collect, breed and trade monsters or items, battle and participate in events to claim lucrative prize up to $100k per season. Monster growth is influenced by bonus points obtained from your daily activties (via 3rd party apps API integration, such as health tracking and music streaming apps)

The developer - TopeBox is a Appstore-featured game developer with more than 100m downloads globally, aims to make My DeFi Pet another global hit. They are getting support from KardiaChain, a non-invasive cross-chain infra.

Dev version is available privately.
Alpha Version opens during April with core features such as collect, breed and trade.
Launch Date is 14th May 2021, tentatively.

My DeFi Pet in-game currency and governance token is DPET, available on both Binance Smart Chain and KardiaChain.
