So, went to lunch at Dulcet and Delish Cafe and while sitting outside with my computer working on the last spread illustration on "Frikka Frog's Rainy Day Parade" (a new series of children's books I wrote and am illustrating), a family with 6 little kids sat at the large table next to me.

Got up some courage and asked if they would be willing to let me read the story and show the illustrations to them (finished all but 1 and the cover). The mom loved the idea of some random dude reading kids a story. LOL, jk! All but one of the kids loved it (5 out of 6 kids and a few parents isn't bad!), asked and answered questions and told me what they liked the most. Success! Looking forward to publishing soon!

Turns out they own a local business with a kid's area. Hoping to do a few test readings there to get a better handle on any tweaks before it goes to publishing :)

I have a credit of 50 digital versions with the publisher. Would anyone like to get a free digital copy when available in exchange for a review when it's launched officially?

Man, we have come a long way with AI art! It was not even a year ago that I was putting out the first portrait issue of AI Illustrated magazine. It has improved so much and so a little time that by the time the magazine came out it was actually behind the times!
