Hi,
My name is Lou Ridsdale.
For those who are new to my world, WELCOME, I love meeting new people. 👋😁
Since I made a life-changing decision to move from the city (Melbourne) to my home town of Ballarat (Victoria, Australia) over a decade ago, my world really did make a rather sharp turn from PR specialist in music/entertainment industry of two decades, to repurposing that passion for comms/PR into my new found love : gardening/environment/sustainability/social causes.
Fast forward to June 2021, and here I am, after quite a few years doing comms/socials for others and really loving it, and a taking advantage of COVID Lockdowns to get a number of university socials/digital courses under my belt, to launching Hey Hoe Let's Grow Socials.
So what is Hey Hoe Let's Grow Socials?
Well, it's something I've been cooking up now for over 18 months and something I'll reveal properly as time passes.
It combines my love of connections, effective communication and the green world around us aiming for goodness/positive social change.
What you need to know for now:
🟢 HHLG Socials is an off-shoot of my Hey Hoe Let's Grow brand (which involves me delivering gardening workshops/writing & comms for clients/community orgs/publications etc). I felt it was timely to separate the two, for clarity.
🟢 HHLG Socials main focus is delivery of a short 1 hr x 10 week online course for those in the enviro/sustainability/social change sectors wanting guidance on socials/digitials from basic info right through to strategic planning.
🟢 HHLG Socials will also be a good go-to for anyone struggling with social media for a swag of easy-to-digest tips'n'tricks applicable to all industries.
🟢 HHLG Socials is designed to empower those who complete the course and update/refresh those keen to brush up on their skill-set.
🟢 HHLG Socials ensures a fun learning environment.
🟢 HHLG Socials also offers social media one-off services such as social media health check up for each of your existing platforms. More on that soon!
Feel free to hit me up at [email protected] for all the juicy info.
