We at The Peasant's Report can recall one of the long time promises that Hon. Julius Espat had made to residents of Cayo South along the George Price Highway which was the construction of sidewalks. We can now see that now as the Minister of Infrastructure Development and Housing Hon. Espat did not hesitate to make his promise a reality.
Residents from Roaring Creek up to Blackman Eddy can now enjoy safe movement and easy mobility within their communities. With no doubt these sidewalks will play a vital role in community development.
Kudos Minister Julius Espat and his entire team at MIDH.
People all around the country, mainly from neglected rural communities, have expressed great appreciation towards the Ministry of Infrastructure Development & Housing for the valuable work that has been done in a short time.
Minister Hon. Julius Espat - Cayo South in the house explained the new way of doing things at the ministry to ensure that everyone has a fair chance of participating in the Infrastructural development of this country.
It is wonderful to see that housing opportunities are on the pipeline for many needy, hard working Belizeans. A rebirth to a ministry that was dead for far to long under the past UDP administration.
Kudos to the Hon. Minister Julius Espat - Cayo South for this project of great significance to the Belizean people.
What angers the leader of the opposition, Patrick Faber, and the rest of the UDP is that people all across the country are now seeing significant infrastructural work. Villages from north to south, east to west, that had been abandoned and neglected for years and years are now getting the attention they deserve.
It is time for the opposition to SIT DOWN and watch how "A Peasant" gets the work done.
We at Peasants Reports have the duty to remind the Belizean people that for 13 years the UDP government and Former Prime Minister Dean Oliver Barrow himself frequently humiliated and verbally assaulted the other members of the house.
THE PEASANTS REVOLUTION

Children are the future, we must set an example, they are watching.
Under the PUP children will get the education they deserve.

CAMALOTE ROAD WORKS

This week at the house of representatives Deputy Leader Hon. Julius Espat placed the Prime Minister on the hot seat when he questioned his son's, Anwar Barrow (PRINCE OF BEL-AIR), involvement in the Boledo fiasco. It seems that the Prince of BEL-AIR has been receiving millions of dollars through the Brads boledo contract. As much as the speaker of the house tried to silence Espat on the matter he battled his way to expose this act of corruption to the people of this beloved country.
Senior Minister Hon. Wilfred Elrington accepted that his government has failed the Belizean people and has done absolutely nothing to alleviate poverty. Cayo south warrior Hon. Julius Espat argued that Elrington should feel ashamed to voice his concern after 12 long years of being in power and did nothing about it. Espat continued by pointing out that the UDP had the finance, the power, the resources, they had everything but simply did NOT CARE.
Yesterday at the National Assembly Hon. Julius Espat exposed the UDP Government ministers' failure for the last twelve years. Their reaction was that of embarrassment , shame and guilt. He delivered one of the most truthful and strong speeches in recent times.
This is how that went.

Peasant's Report is pleased to air such great news coming out from Valley of Peace Village. The village Water Board with funds managed under their leadership managed to make a $65,000.00 investment and acquired a new generator and a new water pump for the water system.
The Village chairman, Juan Arias, spoke to us and was happy that with this huge investment they will be able to provide water to the entire community of about 600 connections supplying approximately 5000 people.
